Survivor: Boards.ie - Final Round

Welcome to the final round of Survivor: Boards.ie!

This is the last Survivor thread in the present season and the winner will stand to win 25 euros in vouchers. This will consist of 4.50 euros in CD Wow vouchers thanks to OFDM and 20.50 euro worth of vouchers or credit that will be negotiated by the winner and myself. I've upped the prize from my initial 15 euros, and OFDM has upped his vouchers from 50 cents. Thanks OFDM.

In this thread - all you need to do is vote for the person that YOU WANT TO WIN. The contestants tovalee and mayordenis do not have to take a challenge or write a stupid essay with missing words or stand on their head while gargling water. The rule is - whoever gets the most votes: wins.

I'm making this poll private unlike the previous few and I'm setting it to close in 5 days time. Please adhere to the rules of boards or you may be disqualified. If you have any questions about this don't hesitate to PM me.

Good luck to you both! You've done sterlingly to get this far. Mayordenis has kept his head low, won the last vital challenge and forged alliances and tovalee has won many challenges and remained neutral and 'Ghandi'esque in her attitude. Thanks to you and the rest of the contestants I think a fairly large number of boards users have been entertained so 'at the end of the day' you are all winners. Therefore if you come second you will still be a winner in my books.

And if you believe that, you'll believe anything.

I think if this round ties then we'll put it to a vote from all past contestants like they did in the one on d'telly I saw. We'll see I guess.

Sure we can do more Survivors after this if there's interest. There won't be a prize this time unless someone wants to cough up.

I know that up until now, i've been very neutral in my game strategy.And i've said i didnt want the prize. But it occured to me today that i do infact,want it quite badly. Please vote for me. I will ask Grdon that the prize go here or to a similar organization in the name of the boards.ie community.

hi, if you were referring tothis post i put in the accessability/mobility/ disablity forum, i apologize, i didnt mean to offend anyone. that is the only forum ,and in fact the only mention of survivor i've put anywhere outside of the thread itsself and only thought it might be an appropriate forum to raise awareness to the fact that I honestly am intending to donate the money to researching genetic diseases. again i apologize for any misunderstanding, i only titled the thread "spamming for a cure" as a sort of tongue in cheek gesture but apparently it was not taken as such.

Well until this tovalee i really thought you were a good competitor but this has been silly,
I could go on to another forum and tell people about the money i've given to charity's but i wont because it is not in very good taste.

tovalee, the fact that you advertised what was supposed to be a "good deed" in order to attain votes for yourself in the final pretty much nullifies the idea of this being a "good deed" and leaves it looking like a stunt in order to win the game.
