Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Have 5.1 for a 1 week punt defender for Digne. Can't see anyone that's likely to keep a clean sheet this week. Already have 3 United and Liverpool

Is Saiss going to keep his place I wonder? Could be a tempting Digne replacement.

Never getting Digne in again. Ever!

Don't want any City players after tonight...

Digne OUT. Never will he darken my door again. Will probably get a Burnley defender for him, thus enabling me to upgrade Quaner to Jimenez.

I don't have any, and after that performance I don't know if there is any worth in getting them in,

Not sure why Camarasa was left out this evening but have enough change to upgrade a bit.
Was thinking of banking and upgrading Deeney to Arnautovic the next week with Camarasa to Puncheon to raise the extra cash but no place for non players on the bench when TAA is already not confirmed as being fit again.

    Camarasa to Moutinho done.

Finding a Digne replacement is top priority now.

Don’t fancy Arsenal defence so that’s a no to Kolasinac.

Don’t fancy City defence either so that’s a no to Laporte.

Need a set and forget so might go for Doherty.

Now could be the time to find the defender that’s in a relegation battle, that you fancy to stay up, and just play him every week.

Edit - could also be a time to have 2 premium defenders and then add one of AWB, Bennett or Bednarek each week depending on fixture. Would free up 1m or 1.5m for attacking options.

    Trippier? Lindelof?

    Trippier? Lindelof?

Not keen on United defence at all and it would take a full strength Sours for me to consider them.

I’m now thinking of bringing in Bednarek (before he rises tonight) or Peltier.

Peltier started tonight but Southampton might be the safest bet for staying up.

If Fulham were showing any signs of keeping a clean sheet I’d bring in Chambers.

Brighton have very decent fixtures and at some point will have a DGW

He won’t do it for me.

Leicester are too wishy washy and whilst they’ve had great results against the top 6 they’ve had awful results against other teams.

It’s the time of year where weird results start happening for those teams involved in the dogfight.

There’s a sub 4.5m hero out here somewhere. It’s time to find him now.

Puel is odds on favourite to next get the sack by the way...

This is exactly what I am after doing.

I have Robertson and Kola as my set and forgets for the moment with AWB, Bennett and Bednarek going on permanent rotation

Have 2FTs. Hazard and Long out for Aguero and Puncheon? Given that City need to start winning again Aguero "should" start or at least get 1.5 games for the DGW.

I had this except Digne > Kola as set and forget. I think it will be Kola that I end up with but waiting on Perriera for after his next 3 matches

Might need to off Anderson. Swapped him for Ricky temporarily about 2 months ago. Might be time to swap back

That’s a bit harsh, you could just offload him.

Have the exact cash for Digne to Laporte, so will have to watch the price changes closely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,714 ✭✭✭Cartman78

    2 FT's and 3.9m ITB.

Probably will get Digne out - might look at someone like Duffy or Tarkowski I think.

Will only have Richarlison and Sane for the DGW then....could possibly do Firmino to Aguerooo...will see how he looks tonight. Not convinced by either Everton or City atm so might hold the 2nd FT.

Got badly burned last season fluting about for blanks and mini-DGW so not going to tear my team apart

Would this be a week to play the free hit and load up on city and Everton players? ?

5.1 and in form, decent fixtures coming up

Currently doing Aguero to aubem and Bednarek for Kiko. Maybe then aubem back in for Aguero cos they play hudders

I'm also thinking Aguero in just for the DGW then Auba comes in for GW26.

I was about to bring him into my wc team but went with Puncheon instead to save the extra 0.9 to use elsewhere as I didn’t see myself starting him much given I’ve Kun Jimi and Rashford.

If your going 3-5-2 I’d say go for it.

I think Moutinho is a trap. Looking at Jota myself.

Can't bring myself to bring in kola for digne with them having city this week. May have to fix a fab problem depending on news

Was considering Hazard out for Sane, then thought about Peps love for rotation, and a possible DGW for Chelsea at some point, so now considering bringing Coleman back in. Unfortunetly though, am about 0.1 short.

Just remembered that against City Arsenal will likely be fielding their 4th and 5th choice cbs, 2nd or 3rd choice rb and an lb that is better at attacking than defending. Could be a cricket score.

How do people feel about Brighton? They have great fixtures now for a while but just had a bad defeat to a very poor Fulham and have a BGW coming up.

All the replacements I am looking at for my problem players are all Brighton (Fab > Ryan, Digne > Duffy, DCL > Murray). I won't get them all but could end up with two, I'm I mad to go near Brighton at all?

  • Registered Users Posts: 941 ✭✭✭Tomw86

Have had Digne for 2 game weeks, useless f**k.

Had enough to take him out and bring in David Luiz, Chelsea V Huddersfield.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

    Digne has returned 3 minus points in the last 9 GW's: -1, -1, -2

He has also returned 3 double digit hauls: 10, 17, 12

Avg of 4.5pts ppg over this period.

Digne has been a decent option to have and has potential for big hauls. However with 5 of the Top 6 over the next 10 games i think it is best to move him on. I think I'll go with Schar or Lejeune of Newcastle.

Just brought him in for Camarasa yesterday evening.

He has just got four assists in the last two games so I think he is worth a go. I think I saw some game highlights recently and it looked like he was taking corner kicks and he seems to be fairly consistently getting his game.

I’m considering Duffy as a replacement for Digne, partially to free up funds and also because of fixtures. Last nights score line didn’t exactly inspire confidence, but I’d expect that they will pick up again, or maybe that’s more in hope.
Murray also you’d expect, given the fixtures could be good value, if funds are tight.

Outside the top 4 Leicester have conceded the least amount of goals but their fixtures are rough enough for me to put chilwell on the back burner. Newcastle and wolves are the next 2 in line already have jonny so possibly yedlin for a punt...

Really want to rage transfer Hazard out for Sterling regardless of the fact he is playing Huddersfield on Saturday :)

I know the feels. They're adrift in the league. Have to give him the game before he's dumped.

Still struggling to find a Digne replacement.

Was interested in Valery but he only got 60 minutes tonight.
