The sort of blokes who come to mind when that label is mentioned seem to take themselves very seriously and also seem to have this lone wolf aspect about them usually with very few friends or some small tight group met via sport or work whom they exclusively socialise with, marriage and fatherhood makes them self-regard themselves as some big 'Tarzan' figure, they usually regard other blokes who are unsuccessful in dating and mating as losers and twats which exacerbates the charmless aspect of their nature. I've always found them too self-regarding and arrogant.

Lest we forget the wannabe ones who are largely a joke, puffed up idiots full of attitude and volubility.

However, the general consensus is that these alpha male types are beginning to 'hoard' so to speak, women. Results on Tinder show 80 per cent of women want the top 20 per cent of guys. Don't shoot the messenger buddy. I just present facts as I see them. Also remember broads say one thing but do another. I don't doubt that many have good intentions but what happens out on the field is very different to the training ground. Friday night comes and after a few rounds of tequila, they are only scanning the bar for a certain calibre of men. I was out a few times at Christmas. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It's not that your outlook isn't fresh. I want to believe it but I have to be careful not to get sucked into your fantasy world. I lived in La La land for too long. I would get so down and not leave my room for weeks. Never ending cycle, then I would go online, post a picture, be told I was handsome and go out and be met by blank faces at best. My whole world would come crumbling down.
Seeing this for what it is, that's is not my fault and I am simply a victim of circumstance has allowed me to come out the other side.

Are you ugly? I honestly weep for men out there that are genuinely unattractive. I'm just forgettable and kinda have an annoying punchable face. It must be so hard out there for them. I mean it's impossible for me so can only imagine what they encounter out there. Maybe they aren't brazen? I'll get ahead of myself on a night out and throw shade/stick to some alex's/generic marginally attractive southside birds so they'll bite back(even though if I was hot, had status etc. they would see it as flirting) but these guys probably just try to content themselves with their lot and hope to snag any of the leftovers who are leftover(remember the 80/20 rule. I can't drop something I'm not holding. Of course looks matter, in all aspects of life, unfortunately and unfairly. Getting hung up on looks and developing this bitter self defeating attitude makes things ten times worse though. I appreciate it's a reactive self defensive thing but break out of it if you can at all.

I'm pale, scrawny and have a weak jawline so I'm bottom of the barrel thrash. As I've said I'm tall but I'd rather be a good looking short man than an average/ugly tall man any day of the week.

Oh no man. The weak jawline is an absolute killer tbh. Won't get far. A lot of ugly guys that do well with women actually have bad faces but very strong masculine alpha jawlines. I've had girls laugh at me when I took my top off because I'm ghost white and don't have abs. That's how shallow women are these days.
