Hi all, The AutoSave Draft feature is now disabled across the site. The decision to disable the feature was made via a poll last year. The delay in putting it in place was due to a bug/update issue. This should serve as a reminder to manually save your drafts if you wish to keep them. Thanks, The Boards Team.

    Seems like it was this;

    Ukrainian-made Snipex Alligator

Fires 14.5x114mm rounds at almost 1,000m/s. Can penetrate armoured vehicles from 1.5km away.

Looks like a promotional video by the Ukrainian army to recruit young lads who spend too much time in their bedrooms🤣

I think they’d also be targeting oul lads who spend too much time done the pub

If you are a young lad down in the Ukraine at the mo.You wont be in the pub or your bedroom, you'll be out putting all that Medal of Honour or Call of Duty screen time to seeing what's it like in real life,as you get conscripted out there once you are 18.

Or given latest figures of 48000 Ukrainians and 16000 other nationalities granted leave to settle in Ireland in 2022, so far, and government stats as less than 70% women and children, means that between 14400 and 19200 could be sitting in the Irish pub or bedroom or drinking in the park or on the street in any Irish town, where by the way, open drinking is against the law (only if you are Irish). Extrapolate this to include the very many countries under pressure from Ukrainian "so called refugees" and you get more realistic figures

Mall Ninjas, xbox & ps players, the tacticool crowd, the all the gear no idea crew are really taking over here now 😀

Last few weeks there seems to have been an influx them here? Actual shooters or a fishing expedition?

PTB must be enjoying reading here now 🤔

@itisnotgrand Highly doubtful you'd license it. Would never get past the good reason argument and rightly so.

No need for it, no use for it and utterly impractical for any Irish needs.

No, it's disguised as a pen so it's category A.

The Pen Gun, nothing new there to see, old hat.

I saw them back in the day (late 70’s) in Southern Lebanon.

    Licensable - Highly unlikely.

As Cass said, no need for it, no use for it, utterly impractical and having used one, bloody dangerous as standard of craftsmanship is terrible to say the least.

One of the more advanced designs of usually a "knock the lever off the ledge" and fire design. Most are so bulky and crudely made, even the slowest inept security personnel would spot one these days. This was conceived as a last ditch[a VERY last ditch!]Concealed weapon for undercover LE personnel...It wasn't a very big hit...

Nice bit of mini engineering and lathe work, but unless you are in the hitman business and even then in maybe one in a thousand situations you could use such. An absolute gimmick to be enjoyed as such.

One of the smarter innovations I've seen in a long time for safe gun carrying

If I lose my AR, I might see if I can licence one of these. It's bolt action so why not. 😁 I wonder how much it is per round? Maybe €50 per pew?

    Duff rifle scopes.

We probably all have one knocking about in a closet or parts draw someplace with either windage or elevation on the fritz.

What do you guys do with yours? Do you try repairing them or is there anyone around who can fix these? Not talking about quality brand names here, just the generic Brand X 50/100 euros optics.
