Did you use a credit card? I think some cards add a percentage onto a transaction if purchased in a different currency. Actually mine might do that...

Just add on 25% to the stg price.
Any extra or less will only be a few euros, worth it to get a guaranteed one. I have a feeling that Irish stocks will be low and will nowhere meet demand.

Cash I used changed money in airport then drove up

I think you mean 2.5%

If you buy from Belfast does the warranty on the phone still stand here? I.e. if I find major scuff marks or display issues can I ring apple here or would I have to bring it back to Belfast?

    Nope, £1 = €1.24 approx.
warranty works no problem here. I returned my 4 because of the home button that I bought in Belfast.

Warranty is world wide. I got a warranty replacement iPhone4 in the apple store in Boston a few months ago.

Typo on the €/£ in my post but the principle is the same. Add 25% to the UK price to get the approx euro price as per my previous post to which another poster said i was wrong, it should be 2.5%

I am heading to Belfast tomorrow. Can anyone tell me how much do you get charged exactly on your laser card in Euros for 16GB at 529 pounds?

It will depend on your bank.

Tomorrow could be a different exchange rate than yesterday and also your bank may charge a different commission.

    https://reserve.apple.com/GB/en_GB/reserve/iPhone

Select the Birmingham Store if there is one.
    Reservations only accepted between 9am-5pm.
