    Hey!
Is there much if any customs charge on games from Japan? 3-4 Saturn games

None. Well I've never been charged anyway and there's been times where a package from Japan would arrive every day of the week :P

Ok I just want to check interest in something here. I want to get 2 boxes of these. One to open up and stick around the place and another to keep as a collector ( Although I'll end up opening it up aswell knowing me :D )

But instead of paying up against $100 for 2 boxes shipped I could order a case of them for $200 shipped if anyone else would like to get some of these aswell. Just seems like better value and they are pretty cool

Anyone interested? If not, its no bigy

Be some vat on them aswell when they come in i assume but its just going to be below the 150 mark for customs charges, anyone have an idea of what the vat would be on it?

    Priceless....
So, given how much you hate the game, why have you got a copy? And why are you playing it through?

I own a copy to remind me of how bad games can get, just like Ed Fries of Microsoft games studios keeps a copy of Mortal Kombat Advance in his desk drawer to remind him of the same.

As for playing it I'm actually not, I'm reading through a great let's play on something awful and laughing my head off at the translation.

    Here's another:

Spotted this lovely article on facebook:

It's from the Commodore 64 + ZX Spectrum 30th Anniversary Book / Bookazine that was issued by Retro Gamer back in Febuary I think:

    zxspectrumc64coveranim.gif

    Did anyone buy it?

It appears to have slipped under the radar on the forum, or at least I couldn't find it after searching.

Going to order it right now, for the SID Crowd article alone!

I was only thinking to myself yesterday about the Spectrum, a system I've fully neglected upto this very moment (being such a Commodore whore and all ;)) , and was thinking about the games I've missed out on.

And getting an emulator soon to discover a new world of the 8-bit era I've missed out on.

This book should definitely be the answer to that problem!

BTW does anyone know if sold out recent issues of Retro Gamer magazine end up back in stock on the imagination shop website?

    Wouldn't mind picking up issue 100 + 1, and issue 89 also:

    rg_89_cover.jpg

Is that C64 collectors guide more than just 12 page list of the rarity of the games?

Is it any bit more in depth?

Not sure if Dave is skipping the 12 pages in the video:

Not sure about the online store(for the physical mags i assume?) but the iPad app now has issues 1 to 101 as well as a good few special edition retro gamer collections.

Here's the special editions available at the moment, you can preview the full mags in a mini viewer:

Era, it was easy to find it as I remembered..

    'Twas the night before Christmas,
    when all through the board...
    Not one member wasn't drinking,
Not one drop hadn't been poured...

The boardsies got locked, by the vodka and Beer,
While Atavans posts, became all too unclear...
Then a picture was posted, of him out of his head,
    So I said FÚCK THIS....
