Not entirely sure why, and I know he's a major character and was therefore inevitable, but I really hate Viewtiful Joe.

I've quite liked the little I've played of the Viewtiful Joe games, but as a character and how he plays in TvC I cant stand him. I would not have been sad to see him absent from the roster.

EDIT: Also, looking at the stages again there, the street level crowds in the parade level look terrible. I really hope they're a place holder.

Viewtiful Joe the game is great but the character does look horribly out of place in a line up that's been reasonably consistent so far.

That said, I've played game where Roll's fought the Hulk so I am not one to judge.

LOL so a DOG fits in well but a little man doesnt?
also its marvel vs capcom, theres no such thing as consistency, they had mega man in the older versions

The dog fits in. It looks relatively normally proportioned.

i dont have any point, im just avoiding work.
i think view looks great. so does the okami dog. Its all gonna be great.
Id like a little bit less mashing but thats not gonna happen.

I don't really care either, I'm sure I'm going to love this game, just saying I can see where people are coming from.

I spent a little while studying the crowd too, trying to spot the duplicates. They're so disproportionate too, look how huge the truck cab is. It looks crap in the screen shots but, once the game starts, I don't think they'll draw too much attention. And then the platform takes off so they're gone entirely.



incidently, in copying the image properties, I must say that I approve of the "JoevYank" title.

Viewtiful Joe isn't poochy.

Joe is an unpopular movie nerd that drags his girlfriend to a bunch of midnight showings of old monster movies she doesn't give a crap about, and looks like she's going to break up with him over.

Then randomly he gets sucked into the movies, his girlfriend is kidnapped and he gains super powers. He goes a little bit wild then, as I imagine any of us would.

I didn't play any of the sequels but Viewtiful Joe one was a fantastic game.

Side scrolling beat em up platformer, with plenty of puzzle elements thrown in revolving around Joe's movie powers.

The boss fights were as much a "puzzle with reactions/reflex tests" that Zelda was, but was so goddamn hard.

I'm pretty sure I beat the game with all characters on the highest difficulty; but by Jesus did it make me work for it.
