"We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Amen"

Hey, cool! Now I know Jesus' second name!

Teeth whitening tomorrow, it's the little things, (not a scooby), why not.

What on earth is subbed to?

I assumed "subdued" i.e. knocked out during it but relativity may be right

Yeah, I'm thinking "subbed", short for "subsidized". Not a medical card procedure. They don't cover teeth cleaning anymore, never mind whitening. Probably part of a company health plan.

I'm pretty sure he/she meant to type "sunbed too".

I'd agree with this interpretation, seems much more likely than the author of that status knowing the word 'subsidised'.

Aaah, SUNBED. Yes, it's clear now. Goes with the teeth whitening. Boy, that one took a bit of brainstorming to translate! Great find ;)

I'm guessing so. Everything else is her life is funded by the SW

Just checked her FB again and yes, it seems to have meant sunbed, seeing as she's now complaining about being ‘ichy' after 5 mins on the sunbed :)

I do make a small allowance for the memorial ones.

I don't think it's appropriate for Facebook, it can look like a cheap way to harvest likes, spelling can be awful, the sentiments a bit shmalzy or clumsily expressed. But they may be at least heartfelt.

I agree, but couldn't they visit the grave, light a candle, get a Mass or something said, say a prayer if that's their thing. Some private family matters should remain private family matters.
