Slushy crap being blown around here in west clare at a Temp of 2.5c.

Anyone else having trouble with Met Eireann rader updating. Using UK site participation will reach the east coast but on the marginal side at the moment. Sleet/Wet Snow. More organised bands into connacht now looking good for here and further east for later. I can here the wind now in the chimney. Temp O.9

yes heavy wet snow consistency is changing more to real snow. thank god! told the kids we going to school via sledge tomorrow if we are lucky enough to even get few cms. happy days !

Yeah met.ie radar stuck on 11.30, typical when there's interesting weather out. Using Netweather now.

By the way its going here in west clare, i may as well sweep the slush off the window sills and start selling slush puppies!

Constant sleet/hail mix here with a stubborn 2.8c temp.

Yep snow shower passed through here(kilcock) tried to stick at one stage. Looking promising.
Those showers seem to intensify over the midlands then ease off further east.

Next band is a bit more promising. Have to hit the hay. Mostly rain here atm outside Malahide but not long now to snow at low levels in the showers that follow. Night.
