Main seems fine. Side roads dodgy. Snowing lightly again now.

Snowing here in Limerick now, pity it's daytime now, won't stick, but nice to see it falling.

That's falling snow every month this year so far! :)

Very bad road conditions on the N17 between Tuam and Knock, I don't know why neither Galway nor Mayo council council decided not to grit the road last night. Why exactly are we paying motor tax again?

Strangely enough, road conditions were better the further north I drove in Mayo. Not a huge amount of snow had fallen, perhaps 1-2cm in places.

To pay for local Government, but it has been diverted to pay the bondholders.

    Light snow, D15

Good snow shower here in Kilkenny. Surprised how heavy it is. Quite dark out too.

Hopefully it comes this way :)

It's heading due East,so somewhere near Enniscorthy
South Wicklow is in the Arran islands shadow :D
I noticed this last time in this groundhog day pattern, showers way to the north about 20 miles and ditto south
    Look at the radar loop
Might catch some later though by fluke
One came overnight leaving a sugar coating

I don't know whether they did or didn't grit, but it is less effective against snow anyway, and against snow it really needs following traffic to be effective. The roads near us were definitely gritted last night, but there was still snow on the roads (even with a minor dusting) this morning.

You're paying motor tax for use of the motorised vehicle, not upkeep of the roads!
