    Fairly heavy snow shower now sticking. Been snowing for about 10-15 minutes now. South Mayo.

    Had a nice snow shower walking to college this morning in Limerick! Wasn't sticking but you know, it was nice to walk through the snow on a Monday morning!

    In west Galway and I can see the biggest heaviest darkest shower of white gold (I hope!) coming my way.

    And so it begins, nice blizzard now.

    There had been blizzard conditions in South cavan the last 20 or more minutes. About 5 cm fell over night so this should add another cm or 2 if it continues

    Thats funny. I'm just north of the town and we have only had one small snow shower at about 10am. Lots of snow still lying. Main road (bypass) clear but the side roads are dodgie. I'm meant to go to BAilieborough in the morning for a meeting... not looking good if this continues!

    I stand corrected.... Snow falling now!

    Went across to our other office there after listening to Radio Nova's weather, they were saying 4-6 degrees, my plums feels bitter out there and clouding up and getting colder imo big time here in coolock :eek:

    Started to hail in Limerick. Slowly turning to snow now. It's rather light compared to what we had this morning.

    EDIT: To follow up on this, it's now clear skies. It was mostly hail and sleet.

    Doubt I'll be seeing any snow here if there's a shower,temp up to 8c now in Arklow and Sunny
    Brisk wind alright but other than that,this thread is a world apart from my weather today and I'm only 40 mins down the road from D16

    I was thinking "What is angry hail?"... Until we just got some in Limerick, and yeah, it was just... Angry! Followed by some light snow... Gone as quick as it arrived though!
