I can see where ye are coming from but if it is a cover up of somekind what happens if it came out in the open? The wwe is fecked. Is it worth the risk for a guy who makes it no secret he wants to retire soon. If he was caught would it not make wwe look serious about their wellness policy and help their reputation. I just think there is too much to lose here for a cover up.

Apologies for being an eejit with some of my comments but steroid/drug acccusations hit a raw nerve with me.

It seems like a good deal until they charge you 100 dollars for shipping and then fedex want 50 euro of you for duty and VAT. Then the package is not so appealing. Also the titles available in the package are those that most fans would have at this stage mostly old titles

Don't buy internationally from ShopTNA, they charge big shipping and then FedEx will hammer you because they declare EVERYTHING at customs. It a shame because they do do some really great deals. New Hulk DVD listings:

New Hogan DVD has enough rarities on it that I'd otherwise have seen only in sh*tty VQ to make it worth a look definitely.

Why did they include the vs. The Giant match from Hog Wild 96 when it's already on the other box set ? Other than that it looks really good. Does anyone still have the Hulk Still Rules DVD from 2002 pre-WWE ? It was released just before the name change but got deleted. I had but sold it :( Just wondering how many matches from that are included on the two box sets now ?

Oh and this is out soon :

    backlash_1.jpg

Backlash and Judgement Day 2001. Both are well worth getting just for Austin's amazing return to form and a fabulous evil sadistic heel turn and the Angle/Benoit matches. These tagged classics are all way too expensive though. They're just straight copies from video tape to DVD leaving you with a poorly balanced crackly picture with contrast issues. The menus and artwork are nasty.

Fully Loaded is pretty good with a good main eventer, HHH/rock match was good and there was a few others worth watching (if I remember right). Can't remember Unforgiven too well other than the 6 pack challenge which was good but ye knew it was just a big push for Tripers. No chance Kane or Bulldog was gonna win!!

Just watched some of Bret Hart's DVD and the Triple H "kings" DVD. It's a shame when they include so many PPV matches on compilation DVDs cause chances are you'll have seen them and probably have them on tape already. Hart's picks were odd for his matches : two matches with Bulldog, Owen and Perfect. There's gotta be some gems left behind. They should do a second compilation similar to Hogan's new one. Why has the third PPV match with Austin/Bret never been included on a DVD ?

Triple H's is pretty crap. The interview snips are alright considering it's non-kayfabe so he uses words like "sell" and "(get) over". The matches included are of varying quality. vs. Mankind @ KotR was good but I sort of prefered their IYH match.
vs. HBK 3 stages of hell wasn't very good. Too long and a bit sloppy.
vs. Mero was obviously just there cause he won the IC strap.
vs. Mankind from RAW Aug 99 again is just there cause he won the belt.

vs. Austin from No Mercy is a great match though.

The hog pen match for years held that title of stupidest match ever. Took a while before Al Snow and Bossman took that honour off of them though :p

Just in the middle of it now. Jeff Jarrett V Edge was a great match, and the Acolytes are just after beating The Hardys and Michael Hayes, which was also a damn good match

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,443 ✭✭✭Red Sleeping Beauty

Isn't there also some car park street fight with Blackman vs Shamrock ? Iron circle or something ? And there was also some silly comedy hardcore match I think. The strap was good though and the first blood match was good. I reckon part of the reason they did a big match like that on a transitional PPV card was cause of the "lost" match from Over the Edge that year.

Yeah, an Iron Circle match. That was pretty good. The hardcore match was Big Boss Man and Al Snow, which did get a bit ridiculous in the end. Overall, a great PPV, the only real weak point was probably Mideon vs D-lo Brown for the European title. The First Blood match was brilliant, as was the strap match with Rock vs HHH.

The thing about it that I really loved was the commentary. King as a heel and JR were absolutely brilliant.

Yeah they were on fire back then. Fully Loaded 2000 was very very good as well if I remember right with a kind of triple main event thing.

Yeah it was Y2J v HHH in a last man standing match which was very good if I remember correctly (its been ages since I've seen it).

Undertaker and Angle had a good match as did The Rock and Benoit. As previously posted, the wwf was on fire in 2000 with great ppv's. Was fully loaded shown on channel 4? I think it was but I honestly can't remember.

Bought that in with Judgement Day 2000 on the tagged classics. Great ppv.

Rock v Benoit, HHH v Jericho and Angle v Taker are the main events. Picked it up for £11.99 a few months ago which was decent enough direct from silvervision.
