    Good point but if we're changing one of our words, then they should be made to change one of their silly words too. From now on petrol and faucet will be replaced by the streamlined gas and tap respectively.

    All hail our new monosyllabic overlords.

    i don't mind most of the words, it's the accent that annoys me. I met a girl up in Byron bay last month and she was speaking like this? I'm from Cork? I'm just travelling around? In a seriously californian accent, I couldn't hear a trace of culchie in her. So she was talking to some aussies later on and they didn't believe she was Irish etc. This girl was in her 20s somewhere she can't have been that thick not to know what was going on.
