Just found out that 1 of my mates pays for sex with hookers. It was the last thing i expected from him ... especially him.

I'm a male myself but would never pay for a shag. Would you??

Voted no, I wouldn't, but I did do once while I was in Amsterdam... I was more paying for 'the experience' than the sex though.

The experience was pretty 'meh'... certainly not what I'd call good sex and I wouldn't be too bothered doing it again. As someone said above, a good porn mag (or a simple google search) has similar results.. and a damn sight cheaper to boot.

To be honest I dont really see the point in paying for sex. Sex Is only really good if your doing it with somone you really love. Otherwise its the same as self sex. From what Im told :cool:

I personally cannot see the problem. If the sex degrades the prostitute, they should find another way to make money. I think it should be legalized and regulated for the safety of all involved.

This may be a totally different place to what you're talking about but this steam place is not really prostution according to a friend (he's on Boards) anyone can go there and hook up with someone else but it's not paid it sound like a club but without the drinks or the effort of chatting someone up. I wouldn't do it myself, but I don't see anything wrong with it, broadly speaking. You can't blanketly condemn prostitution on the grounds that it's exploitative any more than you can condemn the music industry for the same reason. Any industry where there's a lot of money to be made you'll find exploitation on some level of it.

Irrespective of that, imposing archaic and judgemental moral systems upon people is unethical. I think illegalising prostitution is a violation of fundamental rights, tbh. Not to mention being a stupid way to inadvertently allow and promote exploitation. :rolleyes:

I've paid for it before 1.5 times. I say this because one of the times I got tricked and was asked for money in the morning when I never would've agreed to pay for it (didn't even have the cash if I wanted to!). So I thought it was just a random score and she didn't (or was planning or robbing me or something). I'm not ashamed of it or anything as it is what it is and it was what is was. Sex on tap offered to me when I was plastered. Having said that I wouldn't go around boasting about it either and I certainly wouldn't get into it with any female friends/suitors bar one or two really open minded chicks that I know.
