Nah, its Sinn Fein playing catch-up. Once the big boys in the South showed them what to do, they got the courage to follow.

Never lead the people, only follow the mob - Sinn Féin’s party motto.

MLMD has been calling for the Paddy's Day parades to be cancelled for close to a week despite leo and buddy's saying there wasn't a need to until yesterday afternoon.

You were also whinging about SF cancelling the two public meetings let week because of MLMDS kids attending a school directly involved in the Coronavirus controversy and saying it was done because they were a flop, and before that you were claiming the crowds and seats available were for propaganda purposes.

You do more spinning than Vic Reeves and the Wonder Stuff.

How's MAry Lou getting on with that left government she was trying to set up? Oh yeah, she didn't actually bother her hole going about it.

The spin on here was that she was self isolating. But we know that’s boll1x. She nearly shat herself when she thought there was a chance she’d have to go into government

The spin on here was that she was self isolating.

One person said it after she did an interview from her home when she was deliberately staying with her kids who were at the school in Glasnevin that was shut.

You leaped on that comment like a rabid coyote and haven't let go since.

    Grow up.

Oh so she wasn’t self-isolating? I asked for clarification a number of times but never got any.

You've been asked a number of times to grow up too. Now's as good a time as any.

....... She nearly shat herself when she thought there was a chance she’d have to go into government

    Indeed.
Canvassing saying there was no way they'd go with FG or FF and then using the fact FG and FF wouldn't get into bed with them as an excuse. They want change allegedly but really don't have the stomach for it.
Really sad to see folk who voted for SF being too glum to spot they've been played.

Something's gone wrong somewhere when a party says it doesn't want to be in government.

The whole point of being a politician is to affect law and policy. It's vastly harder to do that when not in government. It's like saying they don't want to bother being politicians anymore. Which is fine, just stop taking the pay also.

I prefer to look at what politicians do rather than what they say.

It is all very well to proclaim you want to be in government when you know that the numbers don't add up and you are only playing to the gallery in the realisation that you will never have to take a hard decision.

FF, FG, Labour, the Greens, Independents, members of the Soc Dems have all done stints in government, we know that they can and will step up to the plate when required. The rest - the rabble rousers in SF and the PBP along with other left-wing independents - who ask to be held back from the fight and hurl from the ditch, we don't actually know that they are capable of government.

It was a great excuse to hide from the media for a few days and break the cycle of being asked about government.

Labour, FG and FF have all changed their minds on who they will talk to about forming a government.

Jim Callaghan being the latest to be vague.

Forming a government is still a fluid thing as certain people don't seem to be in control of their own parties.

All talk, that's what Mary-Lou is.

She had the opportunity to tell Michelle to cancel the Belfast one and she didn't.

If she was elected Taoiseach, she would spend the first year calling on the government to do something, not realising it was her responsibility.

    Why lie about stuff?

They did not say there was no way they'd go with FG or FF. They were very clear, their 'ideal' was a government without FF or FG in it.

Does you argument no favours that you lie about that.

    Lol, semantics Francie.

Vote for change, that means no FF or FG in government ........... did you not hear that people voted for change.

Fairly typical stuff for the power swap brigade. Have your lie pointed out...keep lying.
Well done, you'll fit right in with the brigade.

125 TDs were elected on the platform of getting FG out of government, now most of them and crying and pleading for FG to talk to them.

    No backbone at all.

    What lie?
A vote for SF was a vote for change, no more FG or FF in government. Is that not what the 25% voted for?

Apparently it was only an ideal, completely not realisable so once you get in you can try and get FG in bed with you. If they don't want to play ball it's FGs fault :)

75% of people voted for change. Yet Mary loo can’t be arsed trying to form a government. Pathetic

45% of the vote was for FG/FF . Neither FG or FF represent change as both were seen as working in concert from '16 till the election. No idea where you have dragged this 75% from.

So 55% of the vote was for change. So who is brave enough to lead that change? Certainly not Mary-Lou who has disappeared again. She certainly can't stand the heat in the kitchen.

SF were clear as a bell.

They would try to form a government IDEALLY without FF or FG.

Is that too complicated a policy for you to grasp? It isn't that many words.

Don't go with the other useful idiots (useful to the power swap axis) who are busily trying to put it about that everybody who voted for OTHER than FG or FF voted for the same thing or gave the same mandate.

You mean, didn’t swallow the lie. It amazes me how gullible SF supporters are.
