Zilch snow here in NCD, heading up to the Dublin mountains to see some winter wonderland scenes.

That’s less than 28km from where I am and not a snowflake in sight. Dublin just up the road aswell. We never really get proper snow in Bettystown , I think somebody mentioned Isle of Man or something , but it’s like there’s some magical force field that protects us from the harshest stuff, even if you want to see a bit of snow.

Blessington Road, Naas. Sadly it was a very wet snow affair. Think the rain didn't help all yesterday.

Decent covering here in D16. Pleasantly surprised. Was really worried last night we’d get nothing!

Just did a bunch of measurements there. Minimum depth was 8cm and max was 15cm. Didn’t measure any drifts.

A dusting on the grass, nothing on the roads in South Kildare. My car did well though, so now I have to clear that and drive the main roads to work, so I have an earlier set off time.

I'm jealous of those of you who struck white gold!

Yep about 3 or so inches here. Close to Marley Park. Melting already.

Not one bit of snow or frost down here in the south. All we got was rain

Snow on the hills/higher ground all round Greystones, but, as expected, nothing with me right beside the sea.

Beautiful sunny morning in Tullamore. Virtually no snow. I had to drive up to the Slieve Bloom Mountains yesterday morning to see some lying snow and even then it was raining by 11.00 in the morning.

Panic making lunches here and stuffing them into schoolbags.

Absolutely lovely crisp bright morning in D24 with a decent covering on the ground. Dogs were in their element on the walk this morning.

Good to see parts of Dublin got a good covering, we only got a small amount near the coast but looks like inland dublin did quite well. I would say dublin mountains are phenomenal this morning

The very slightest dusting here in rural Gorey, like icing sugar on a cake. Not sticking at all apart from on the cars. Was sleet by the time my alarm went off. Not a hint of frost or ice on the ground either.

    Thank christ.

    Damp squib 😉

Surprisingly little snow in my part of Longford @ 100m ASL. I'd say just a couple of cm. The models were so good as they (the high resolution ones) did only suggest a light covering here.

I can see Cuilcagh mountain as clear as I've ever seen it from here. It looks as close as Corn Hill normally looks on an average day.

Went out after I was awoken to the snow & got over 36 shots on my film camera! Finally got a shot I’ve been planning for almost a year in the making!!

I thought for once Donegal was going to be left out of this event. But she pulled a sneaky overnight fall. Ground is frozen solid!

Bit of a non-event sadly, South Kildare/Carlow, plenty of precip but the wrong stuff

Tomorrow morning, rain, sleet and snow will spread northeastwards to all areas, with some small accumulations possible in parts of Connacht, Ulster and Leinster. Rain will clear to scattered showers in the west and southwest through the afternoon and evening. Cold in Ulster, Connacht and Leinster with afternoon highs of 1 to 5 degrees.

A few cms here in Ashbourne. Beautiful morning. The March sun will make short work of the snow but lovely morning.
