Hunter Biden happened to have 3 water-damaged laptops in Delaware that needed repair , despite living in California
He chose to take them to a Repair shop run by a Blind Trump Supporting Conspiracy Theorist purely coincidentally

He had an address in California but according to records he was rarely there. They tried around 10 times to contact him at that address during 2019 to serve him for breaking the terms of his divorce and he was never there.

The IT guy supporting Trump is possible, not sure you can call him a conspiracy theorist. As fas as I can gather he told reporters he feared for his life and when they asked him why he said he had heard stories about things like this.
The Damage to 2 of the laptops was such that the repair guy was instantly able to determine that they were beyond repair and not worth him even trying
The One was was repairable happened to be the one that had "dirt" on it
The other systems could also have had "dirt" on them

We've already agreed, I think, that this is possible and plausible.
Having submitted them for repair Hunter Biden ignored multiple phone calls about collecting them.
Hunter Biden just never thought about the laptop ever again

He seems to have been keeping a low profile, avoiding his ex-wife and her lawyers so I think its possible he changed his phone number or didn't answer calls if he didn't immediately recognise the number.
The Repair Shop owner , having recovered the data , decided that he should "read" the data (a major breech of protocol really)
    He found "Dirt"

He was legally entitled to and probably well advised to look at it. It was abandoned property, same as if you dumped all your bills and medical records in a country lane. You lose the expectation of privacy.
If the shop owner is now the legal owner, as per the contract, he is probably right to check there isn't child porn or something on it he could be charged with as its owner.
He had a "Friend" that knew how to contact Multiple Senators/Congress people
    None of them responded
Eventually the "Friend" got in touch with Rudi through his personal attorney.
The FBI took the device last November and have done absolutely nothing with it since , not a single thing.

We don't know what the FBI did or whether they had a legal right to examine it if there was no current investigation.
Rudi got a copy of the data at around the same time
Rudi didn't use the data to defend Trump from Impeachment , because reasons.
Rudi didn't give the Data to the Bash Inquiry , because reasons.
Rudi didn't give the Data to the Durham investigation , because reasons.
Rudi didn't give the data to the Ron Johnson Senate inquiry , because reasons.

From what I've read, that's not the timeline. Rudy only got it sometime in August or early September this year.
Rudi shopped the data to multiple media outlets in recent weeks and none would go near it.
Rudi finally decided to use the NYP, because "they wouldn't waste time doing stuff like fact checking"

I think what he said, or meant, is that the likes of the media companies who went straight to the Russian disinfo conspiracy theory, would sit on it until after the election. We know that would have been the case by their reaction after it was released. The Fox news report is unconfirmed but if they didn't feel they had time to verify it beyond reasonable doubt then that's their call.
New York Post Journalists refused to add their by-line to what would be a Pulitzer nominated article if it was true.
The FBI to date have said absolutely nothing other than "NO COMMENT" so far about any element of the story.

The FBI have said they will brief the congressional and senate committees if there is any suggestion of foreign interference they need to know about. Therefore they don't believe it is foreign interference.
Could each of these statements have occurred as stipulated?

In isolation , Yes , of course they could

BUT ,For this story to hold water - every single one of them needs to be true.

And as I have said now repeatedly , that just strains PLAUSIBILTY beyond breaking point for me.

I don't entirely agree with your timeline or version of events though.

    Just throwing it out there

Nearly 700 economists, including seven Nobel Prize winners, are urgently warning against Trump’s reelection, citing what they describe as a "sustained assault" on democracy, a bumbled response to the pandemic and the spread of "dangerous misinformation."

They found 700 people with economics degrees that hate Trump? Shocking!

What about their ecomomics degree makes them experts in democracy, pandemics or misinformation?

“I will soon be giving a first in television history full, unedited preview of the vicious attempted “takeout” interview of me by Lesley Stahl of @60Minutes. Watch her constant interruptions & anger. Compare my full, flowing and “magnificently brilliant” answers to their “Q’s”.“

His interview must have been seriously bad.

Mindless parroting of the buzzwords, QAnon became an awful lot more popular since the mainstream gave 'oxygen' to that conspiracy theory in front of the largest audience possible. That was suspect at the time.

It is not 'QAnon' to say the former mayor of new york has given a laptop/harddrive to the police and that he claims there are a couple of pictures that look illegal amongst the thousands. It is not 'QAnon' to say that a man in delaware has claimed he gave a laptop to the FBI. But this is the pivot after the 'russian disinformation' one fell flat on its face.

It used to be - and is when it is convenient - that a single unnamed source or gossip in the new york times was enough to make the Trump guilty of anything. So I've found this newfound journalistic scepticism welcome but revealing.

There also has been no explanation of where the photos of Hunter came from. And the thing is that nobody is even curious about it. They accept whatever they're told without evidence (that russia hacked Burisma, I suppose?). Except the russian disinformation angle has been shut own by DNI, DOJ and FBI.
One thing that made me take notice was the censorship and the fact that people started calling it russian disinformation without evidence. They won't believe the DNI but they believed someone like Adam Schiff or a newspaper article with no one on the record.

As far as a poll boost, I have been confident Trump will win comfortable enough before this came out. In fact this could hurt him in the public's eye in the short term.

Just to get this straight, you don't support Trump, but think he will win, and believe the story that Giuliani is pushing at the moment based on the facts and details, or because it goes against mainstream media?

While putting 'everything' in quotes looks fun (I mean why 'oxygen'? was that needed?), the assertion is that anyone who can believe the list of circumstances that would lead to the email story being real (and maybe there is some real evidence out there that will come to light, I doubt it, and Rudy is probably finished with his hands down his pants tonight) are also in a venn diagram conjoined with those who believe in other outlandish conspiracy theories.

The screaming narcissism is what gets me. I get the American love of supreme confidence, but Trump isn't within an asses roar of confidence, it's sheer unmitigated arrogance and yet he's beloved for it.

Real Clear Politics, have moved Michigan to lean Biden following a Fox news poll putting him 12 points up.

For all of you confident in Trafalgar's methodology , they have Trump 1% ahead and there is still time to remortgage the house and put it on Trump.

This will be over on election night in my opinion.

The defeat for Trump will be too decisive to have any doubts from him.

    He's such a man child.

Yep, but there's a pair of them at it. Did you see where Biden went full man-child with a guy who asked him about Hunter and Joe selling access to the Vice President? Biden called him fat and went on a bizarre rant about how he (Biden) wasn't sedentary, was in better shape and they should have a competition to see who could do more push-ups. Very bizarre behaviour to a simple question.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/dec/05/joe-biden-iowa-voter-fat

This election is definitely between two thin skinned hot-heads with explosive anger issues.

I am not sure if this has been said already but does anyone think that his cronies are going to throw out an edited version of the interview ahead of the actual airing to push a theory that CBS edit interviews?

Looks like Amy is off to the dance .
The Senate judiciary committee on Thursday approved Judge Amy Coney Barrett and have sent it to the Senate floor.
3 Appointees , The Supreme Court secured for a generation, thats some legacy to be left behind by a man who got $400 million from NBC to say 'Your Fired' ... impressive...

The 10 Democrats didnt turn up .
Which is a sign they have finally learned something.
They have been so ineffectual in stopping the TRump administration agenda and trying to lay a glove on him for the last 4 years, they may as well not show up.

if Joe wins the senate he can appoint as many SC judges as he wants. going by the polls that is looking likely.

Yes, it's called packing the court and it is highly irregular

Yes, it's called packing the court and it is highly irregular
Has Trump not done that pretty much at all levels of the judiciary since taking over?
So biden would be well within his rights to do the same if he wins

if Joe wins the senate he can appoint as many SC judges as he wants. going by the polls that is looking likely.

There are alot of hypotheticals in there...
    if the polls are right
    if Joe wins the presidency
if the Dems win the senate ..
if he then decides to pack the court
if all Dems in moderate states choose to vote to pack the supreme court ..
if a current sitting scotus pops off

so thats at least 5 big 'ifs' ... and theres probably others ..

meanwhile on the non-hypothetical no ifs required , side of things

Donal Trump the man with the gold plated suite overlooking NY from 50 floors up, HAS appointed 3 judges to the SCOTUS , all relatively young .
