200 people can be in attendance at a GAA game but by the time you take into account both team squads, management, the referees, stewards and camera crew, unfortunately it only leaves space for a tiny handful of actual attendees.

Also, all you have tried to do is wrap up your racism in the guise of a concern about a public gathering. If the Irish government gave the go ahead for Croke Park to be packed to the rafters tomorrow for a GAA match you would have no concern whatsoever.

Islam isn't a race! So explain the "wacist" comments?

OK, so what are your views on when Croke Park was used for the Eucharistic Congress in 2012 or the World Meeting of Families in 2018? Was Croke Park the place for them? And if so, what differentiates them from the Eid Festival?

The difference is people aren't afraid of Eucharistic congress or Meeting of Families. They're less likely to blow you up

Thats a blatant lie, care to post your evidence for this ludicrous claim?

1 bad thing is that a religious festival was held in the midst of a pandemic

Whilst horrible counter protests took place outside

And it has caused divisions among gaa members around Ireland - the gaa should keep out of politics and religion

Btw I don’t care what “flavor” religious festival it was - that is irrelevant.

Well thank you for that wonderfully enlightened response. Why don't you go play with the other kids and let the adults have a proper discussion here.

Ireland's going more like the UK. Actually, it's a bit like the Celtic Tiger. Everyone wanted to keep spending money and no one wanted to pull up. Eventually Ireland got fuked.

It's a minor pandemic in historical terms. And probably not as serious as the next one.

Nobody though is in the slightest bit interested in historical terms... they are interested in NOW terms... the reality.. which is...

We have a lot of experience in Ireland of what a religion with extreme ideas can do. I don’t think very many Irish people would think it would be acceptable if 1950’s style Catholicism resurged. We now look back at that as repressive, extreme and bad for society.

A serious question we need to ask and discuss is, Is modern day Islam repressive and bad for society? If the answer is no, then no problem. If the answer is yes, should the likes of the GAA support and promote it?

Well I didn't feel that your response deserved anything more.

Why don't you answer the question I asked you earlier instead of spouting this same nonsense over and over?

So no evidence for your silly claim? Well I for one am shocked

It was following the guidelines laid out by the state. The counter protest was a handful of loons. The gaa member division seems to be an invention of yours tbh

You posted about it in historical terms, calling it the worst pandemic ever.

Lisa Smyth, isis member. Another one Jihad Jane, who joined a terrorist cell in Waterford. This thing is already here. So not really silly. What's silly is continually importing dangerous people.

I think there is something on Boards about not commenting on current legal proceedings. Smith is denying the charge of being a member of a terrorist organisation.

200 people are allowed to an outdoor gathering or match
Nothing further to discuss as is evidenced by the extent of irrelevant posts from those who want to turn this into an immigration debate
