Been the same the last 5 or 6yrs. Lovely skilfull hurlers but a real lack of guts in the team. No lads willing to go hard for dirty ball or do the dog work to break up the oppositions rhythm.

And yet they were six points up in an All Ire semi final v Limerick with 10 minutes left. few years back. Today has been absolutely dreadful for Cork. I see no positives at all with that display.

Kingston has a lot of questions to answer after that. That's our worst display in years, and that says a lot.

2 poor teams in the first half. Waterford raised their game, stopped shooting wides, got a bit of luck with the goal and Gleesons red. They looked a lot fitter and played to a plan. Cork were wasteful and aimless in their play. More of the same from what we've seen in recent years. Waterford deserved their win.

They are capable of some great hurling at times, but there is rarely any more than 1 or 2 displays in them per season.

That panel needs a clear out. Keeper, full back line, half forward line, most of full forward line all not good enough.

True. But we’ve lovely wristy hurlers sure. Ffs yes cork hurling is known for its fast pace and skilful hurlers but you also need a bit of backbone and not be so easy to push around.

Austin Gleeson such a lucky boy. Just like the All Ire semi final in 2017 when he should have missed the final for tampering with the faceguard, he should have definately seen red today for a strike of the hurley. And straight in front of the linesman. Putting his team at risk once again on the big stage. And there was only a few points in it at the time. If the ref/linesman did his job Gleeson would have been sent off and Cork would have been given a lifeline they scarcely deserved. The lad never learns and didn't deserve that huge slice of fortune.

I think the players have more to answer for than Kingston. He has no influence on them once they cross the line. Same team that has failed under 3 managers. Time to stop looking at the managers.

Good performance waterford.
Compared to the last few years the ball into the forwards is much improved.
Still a few brainless things and decisions, especially in last 10 minutes where they should have put it to bed.

Gleeson silly yes, would be good for sky to show the horgan incident also, fair and balanced as they say!
