Islamic countries are not responsible for this.

It's crazed radicalised individuals, a tiny number who have a large impact.

You can't tar millions of people with the same brush.

There are millions of muslims living peacefully in Europe who do not harm anybody.

Do you seriously believe Saudi Arabia has no part to play in islamic terrorism? Seriously?

The "tiny number" argument is getting more and more difficult to sustain as the incidents mount up. The tiny number managed to take over a huge swathe of territory and nearly beat 3 armies recently.

But they come from these countries, and these countries are responsible for a lot of the funding the radicalized mosques receive, e.g. Saudi Arabia

Stop doing business with Saudi Arabia, Turn it into a Pariah state. If their Royal Family want to come to London to shop? F!ck 'em.Don't let them land there. Same with the rest of Europe. A blanket ban on them doing ANY business in Europe.

Stop all funding for anything religious, Mosque, School, Old folks home whatever from coming in from Saudi or any other country in the ME with a proclivity to fund terror.

Funny thing is, all of the politicians who love to ****e on about terror every day (Theresa May and Donald) are the same ones doing weapons deals with them. Just don't tell their supporters that, cause we all know it's the looney left who's caused this cluster****...

How do you know it was a violent incident and not an accident?

Because this is what Islam does.

What else would you expect her to say?

Well I think the way she nonchalantly called it the latest terror attack says it all. I'm not blaming Sharon btw, I'm saying it's apparently become such a regular occurrence that it can be described as the latest, as if it were a traffic update or something.

You must live in a hole, these weapon deals have been going on for a long time, Obama did it and all the former US presidents have. Trump and Theresa are not the one who started this

Yes, the whole of Islam, that's right the whole of Islam, the world's second largest religion is a terrorist organisation.

I thank God every day that we are a neutral country and don't get involved in any **** internationally. Not saying we're not a target, but yano what I mean.

An awful lot of terrrorists actually come from the country they attack.

Look at the incidents in Manchester and Belgium.

Short of deporting every Muslim in Europe it's hard to know what is the solution to these seemingly regular attacks.

I would suggest extreme surveillance and extremely harsh sentences for anyone involved. Even that has limited potential as their religion exhorts and demands them to become martyrs and die for Islam.

It has reached the stage where the security services have admitted they cannot carry out surveillance on all the suspects.

    Do you realise that ?

And they don't care about being sent to prison for a few years because they get to hang out with even more religious nutjobs and they are out after a few years ala Anis Amri and they can move on to even worse things.

The two scumbags that hacked the head off 85 year old Fr Jacques Hamel were also supposedly under surveillance.
Hell one of them was under house arrest.

When are we finally going to see those millions of peaceful Muslims take to the streets and protest "Not in My Name"?

    It's certainly a supremacist ideology.

But I honestly don't know what can be done about Islamic terrorism in Europe, because obviously the vast majority of Muslims are good people, so you can just ban all Muslims. I think what needs to be done is there need to be a no tolerance to extremism views.

You are correct but the problem is the people doing these attacks are doing so in their name.

They may not be responsible and it's harsh on ordinary Muslims that have integrated to take the brunt of it but there needs to be marches by Muslim communities all over Europe to say ''Not in our name''!!

Rescue missions in the Med need to be curtailed PDQ.

Escort them back to point of departure. Do not support traffickers.

    It cannot be rocket science.

Hard to see how they are this effective if it's such a "tiny number"

That's what the Swedes thought - be neutral, bend over backwards, give them anything they ask for, prostrate ourselves before them, and they will be merciful. Didn't work.

But they did they stop it? All their campaign promises of being anti-terrorism, making America/Britain 'safe' and then they go and do a deal to sell arms to terrorist sympathisers.

Trump and May are more of the same, just spout worse rhetoric than their predecessors.

Whilst people are getting all dramatic about today's incident they should realise that so far, exclding today in the whole of Europe that 34 people have been killed due to terrorism.

23 in Manchester and 11 in London.

    Info here

There have been 99 people killed so far this year on the roads but people don't feel nervous about travelling in cars.

They do not even have the numbers to check in on people 2 a week, never mind close monitoring.

Less then 30 years ago this county had enough terrorism to last us a lifetime.

I don't wish it on anybody and hate seeing innocent people being targeted in such a horrible way...

But I do hope our politicians highlight how recent Ireland managed to overcome much worse terrorism and that this should not be forgotten when the beurocrats are trying to point score over brexit...

The minority argument is weird. How come Jews aren't trying to blow up parts of Europe? Sikhs? Hindus? Buddhists? Why is these incidents by far and away come from people who are Muslim?

So therefore more personnel and more resources provided and supported by the elected politicians.
