    You will need proof of address. and some photo id. i only had my drivers licence but that wasnt sufficient despite it having my address on it. go figure.

    Did it on Saturday in store. Signed up for the 30 euro a month rolling contract. Just needed a driving license and also my sort code and account number to set up the new contract.

    I also needed to tell them what my job was, and how long i'd been working in that field!!! :eek:

    oh yeah they did ask me those as well. I think that is for a credit check for the prepay sim. This is despite the fact that i was already a customer.

    Changed to 30 day sim in store Today. License for proof of identity. Bank account number and sort code. They did proof of address by debiting €1 from my card and then putting it back again. Got a new SIM. My old SIM should have gone dead a couple of hours later, but it's still going.

    I got my last bill of the previous 3 plan taken out a few days ago, and the first bill of the new 3 plan taken out today. Anyone else get that?

    Apologies for the thread necromancy, but I got an interesting call from Three today.

    They are working through a backlog of people who had tried to call their cancellation line when this was all going on, to see if they still want to cancel.

    I did manage to get through in March, and transferred to sim only, but for anyone who didn’t manage to get sorted at the time, it might yet work out for you.

    Without giving the specific number, it came from a Dublin 486 number.
