Extratime treble of Dundalk, Limerick and UCD to win at 6/1.

Bray will probably be the team to destroy it this week.

I actually like it as well. Bray could equally lose 3-1 or win 3-1 but 6/1 is a fine enhancement.

Going for goals in Bray match over 3.5 at 11/8
Adding limerick and pats for a near 9/1 treble.

Small win btts 39/1 treble of Dundalk limerick and Spain.

Bray haven't McKell playing for them tonight.

Treble let down, surprisingly by ucd!

Main bet let down by Bray not even scoring at home, disappointed with that.

That is the third week in a row, UCD has let down that treble; not defeating Shelbourne, beating Waterford and then drawing last night.

Not sure why anyone is following those tips. They come from a university student who was asked by someone running the website to write up a weekly tipping article. He knows less (about sports betting) than the regular posters in this thread to be fair. Following a sport and betting successfully on a sport are two different things.

Yep, a woeful record and clearly hasn't a clue, the charity will probably end up owing money from it!!

    ***LEAGUE OF IRELAND BETS***
One winner and one loser last week, Pats concede in the 85th min to draw 1-1. Myself, Aidan, Graeme and Alan have discussed and are happy with the below 2 bets!

    Waterford -v- Wexford Friday 7.45pm
First -v- Last in the RSC! Wateford will be full of confidence this Friday having beaten Wexford FC three times already this season. They won their opening league tie in the RSC 2-0, before 5-0 and 1-0 wins in Ferrycarrig Park in the EA Sports Cup and league respectively.
Waterfords home form is excellent this season with 7 wins and 1 draw with 6 of these 8 being clean sheets.
Wexford in contrast away form reads 7 losses, 1 draw and 1 win with 7 of these 9 games seeing them fail to score.
Waterford could be missing David McDaid and Patrick McClean. Ian McLoughlin and Dean O’Halloran are back in contention for selection after recent injuries. New loan signing Sean Heaney from Shamrock Rovers is also eligible for selection.

Waterford -1.5 Asian (GENERAL) @ 1.75 SMALL STAKE

    Athlone -v- Shelbourne Friday 7.45pm
A somewhat revitalised Shelbourne travel to second from bottom Athlone. Shelbourne come into this game on the back of 2 wins against the top two in the League and 1 draw against 3rd placed UCD.
Leaky Athlone have managed to concede 45 goals in their 18 games this season (a lot of suspect goalkeeping)
Shelbourne and Athlone Town have already met twice this season, Shelbourne taking the honours on both occasions - the first game in Athlone ending 1-4 with the return at Tolka ending 2-1.
Shelbourne will have Niall Lanigan suspended for this game. Both Dave O’Leary and Reece McEnteer return from suspension.

Shelbourne -0.5 Asian or WIN (GENERAL) @ 1.85 SMALL STAKE

I think both Galway and Limerick BTTS Yes appears a good bet as both teams have problems at the back but they have scored a fair few in the games as well.

A good bet for galway games, has been serving me well all year, is 2 or 3 goals to be scored in the game. Started off at nearly 2/1 at the start of the year but has come in to evens now. Still a good bet. watch though now that ive posted it, it will end 0-0 or 6-5

Charity bets on the league of Ireland this weekend.

Cork City & Shels win, Limerick v Galway BTTS. 4/1 Extratime.ie

Under 2.5 in Harps v Drogheda, Over 2.5 Shels v Athlone, Waterford & Longford Town win. 7.86/1 Between the stripes (Kieran Burke's website)

I wonder which part of the treble is going to fail this time.

In fairness, it's a decent enhancement, Bet365 are nearest at only 2.4/1.

Backing LoI teams after a European game.... no no in my books.

Backing LoI teams after a European game.... no no in my books.

Very true but city were at home last night and are at home again Sunday so I'd say they should be a solid home win, especially as it's pats.

Finally they landed the treble but City made hard work of it today.

    ***LEAGUE OF IRELAND BETS***
One winner and one loser last week. Myself, Aidan, Graeme and Alan have discussed and are happy with the below 3 bets!

Finn Harps -v- Bohemians Friday 8.00pm
Bohs travel to Harps on Friday night on the back of their best run of form ass season, with 3 wins 1 draw 1 loss in their last 5. Their loss coming against League Champions Dundalk, a game in which Bohs played really well and conceded in the 89 min too lose.
Bohs are starting to play with no worries after moving 7 points clear of relegation. They are playing stress free currently and playing very well at that. A win against Harps will move them right into contention for Europe and even further away from relegation, so this is a massive game for Bohs.
Along with this decent run of form Bohs have made some new additions to the side in areas which they very much so needed, a full back & a winger, also Bohs have Akinade who is fit again for at least 45 mins, he has been out all season so this is a huge plus for Bohs up top. Bohs have been much better away from home this year with the 4th best record in the league
This is also a very big game for harps who have been playing good of late and moved just above the relegation zone too. But we feel
this Bohs team is getting into their rhythm the moment and are very hard to beat especially away from home. Can't see anything other than a win or refund at the worst.

Bohemians Draw No Bet (GENERAL) @ 2.05 SMALL STAKE

    Shelbourne -v- Wexford Friday 7.45pm
A revitalised Shelbourne host bottom placed Wexford. Shelbourne come into this game on the back of 3 wins two being against the top two in the League and 1 draw against 3rd placed UCD. The 3rd win was against Athlone last week.
Wexford come into this having just won two games all season. Their away form this season is 8 losses, 1 draw and a win against Cabinteely. They failed to score in 7 of those 8 aways!

Shelbourne -1 Asian (GENERAL) @ 1.95 SMALL STAKE

    Athlone -v- Cabinteely Friday 7.45pm
Cabo put a run of bad form behind them with a big win over promotion contenders Cobh last weekend. Coupled with the signing of a quality FD player in Ryan Swan, we expect them to now kick on and pick up a few more results coming into the final series.
Starting with an away trip to struggling Athlone Town. Athlones issues have been well documented this season and we feel Cabo can heap more misery on Roddy and Co.

Cabinteely -0.5 Asian or WIN (GENERAL) @ 1.85 SMALL STAKE

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,844 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

This weekend's enhanced treble is Derry, Cabinteely & Sligo @7/1. The next best are Boyles at just under 5/1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 448 ✭✭Richmond Ultra

    Extratime are back to loosing.
Pat's came from behind to win and Cabinteely drew with Athlone having supposedly had a few disallowed goals.

Few shock results overall with Wexford beating Shelbourne.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,959 ✭✭✭diusmr8a504cvk

Not sure how to feel about this but it's been placed now.
    Cabo/Shelbourne - Double Chance.
    Waterford/Cobh - Under 3.5 Goals.
    St. Pat's/Bray - Btts.
    Total Odds: 1.63.

    ***LEAGUE OF IRELAND BETS***
3 losers last week from 3 in what was a poor showing! Myself, Aidan and Alan have discussed and are happy with the below bet! We also looked at BTTS bet in Bohemians/Derry, which could be worth a small bet. Also may tip Longford win on Saturday.

    Waterford -v- Cobh Friday 7.45pm
Huge game at the RSC tomorrow night as Top of the Table Waterford play Second placed Cobh Ramblers. Waterford are 6 pts clear at the top and will see this game as season defining. A win will push them 9 ahead of second which should be enough for them to go on a secure the league win and promotion back to the premier division.
It has been a traumatic week for Cobh in terms of playing personnel. A potential injury list of 10 players and 1 player suspended has them down to the bare bones for this crucial game. Manager Stephen Henderson has come out and stated that they had to cancel training this week in order to not pick up any more injuries and that he will be forced to draft in u17 and u19 players to fill the team.
Waterford have added smartly in the window with Rovers defender Sean Heaney making them a more balanced outfit at the back and the huge capture of Paul Keegan from Doncaster Rovers has added real experience and class to the middle of the field. There seems to be no injuries worries for Waterford ahead of the game apart from Mark O Sullivan who had a niggling ankle injury in Longford last week and will be assessed ahead of kick off.
Waterfords first team coach, Alan Reynolds, expects a tough match this Friday: “The game against Cobh Ramblers Friday night is a big one and we’ll be going for the jugular.
Waterford have also picked up 25/27 points at home this year and we fancy them to make that 28/30 especially if Ramblers are without so many players.

Waterford -1 Asian (GENERAL) @ 1.75 MEDIUM STAKE

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,844 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

If anyone feels like contributing to Paddy's next steak dinner (:o), the Extratime.ie treble tonight is Waterford, Galway & BTTS in St Pat's vs Bray @7/2 - the next best are Betfair @2.57/1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 448 ✭✭Richmond Ultra

    Extra time.ie have won tonight.

Johnny Ward's tip of Galway to win as well worked out.

Waterford -1 Asian (GENERAL) @ 1.75 MEDIUM STAKE

    Back in business! Won 4-0.

I'm off sunning myself from Thursday so won't be about to post the write ups for the next two weeks - but one of the lads will be posting it into the Facebook group which someone is more than welcome to copy and paste in here.

    **League Of Ireland Bets**

Back on track last week with an easy winner as Waterford posted a 4-0 victory against Cobh. This week we have 1 bet for you to take a look at and 2 potential in play bets.

No write ups unfortunately as most of us are away this week. Just the bets that Gavin Doherty , Aidan Morris and myself discussed.

    Bet:

Shamrock Rovers -1 AH 2.100 (GENERAL) SMALL

Normally avoid derbys but rovers are in extremely good form with Bohs not playing well at all. Rovers making a big push for Europe so a win is huge here

Also discussed and may be in play bets

Cork City -1.5 AH (Line became too short at time of posting, might be worth a look if Cork done score early) bit weary as it's a bit of unknown territory with how theyll do without top scorer Seani Maguire

Waterford -2 AH (Waterford don't tend to score early in games, again, line may improve without an early goal.)
Would probably still take this pre match as we feel Waterford could smash Athlone tonight. First time in a while Waterford have no real injuries except Marky. Win Is huge here for Waterford to start pulling away at the top
