    Looks like 164 is descending.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,135 ✭✭✭✭JCX BXC

Making an approach now, requested a slow rate of descent to 3000ft 500ft/min.

    Normal approach and landing expected.

Would the facilities be available tonight in Dublin to turn the aircraft around and get it back in the air?

Just passed over me here at an indicated 11,000 ft. Door must be well sorted! :)

Antonov AN12 just buzzed over north county Dublin here. No visuals due to low cloud base but the unmistakeable noise was confirmed on Flightradar at FL230

Also seems to be a lot of holding on approach to Dublin airport as well

FR7073 (OPO-DUB) and FR9431 (CIA-DUB) diverting to Shannon because of delays at Dublin (low cloud)

Jet2 757,G-LSAD out of Manchester on a post maintenance flight, just commencing a 180 degree turn near Killarney for Shannon.

Titan Airways A320 AWC320W returning to DUB shortly after takeoff, pressurisation issue I think I heard.

Edit: Oh wait, doesn't look like it now?

Nope continuing on, it was the right aircraft though.

    That's what I was thinking....
I'm starting to doubt myself now what I heard. But soon as I heard an odd rumble I checked fr24 and it was just passing.

Cityjet Sukhoi Superjet 100-95B currently looks to be descending into Shannon (departed Newcastle). Not a regular route for them?

Most certainly is! They have been flying (albeit not as passenger flights) between Dublin, Shannon and Newcastle for months now.

Aer Lingus Dublin to Glasgow has just spent some time circling over the Campsie / Kilsyth hills. Heavy showers on a brisk wind in the area

Low visibility at the airport, it's possible the crew/aircraft doesn't have an ILS rating.

That is a particularly brutal amount of holding though.

Some people are still tuning into the sdr radio feeds, the only live feeds available at the moment are op's (approach / Tower)
and the old mix is still live.
