    Yes it's an unscheduled Tech stop, as compared to the regular planned stops that Ethiopian do in Dublin.

    The US 757 operators mostly use Canadian airports if they need to make a fuel stop westbound. There have been discussion threads on airliners.net about this from time to time.

    Seems to be more than that. A lot of ambulances and fire brigades heading around Santry at the same time. Unsure if it's related.

    The above seems to have been for a Dassault Falcon - F-HJCD, which you can get on the LiveATC approach archive from 1600z.

    Currently unsure as to reason. FR24 playback has it out of Shannon (1520z approx), climbed to FL300, descended after Clonmel to FL90 and doing a couple of loops on the south coast before heading into Dublin. R1 did a runway inspection immediately behind it.

    Late at night in Dublin, the approach controller can space arrivals quite close as there are lots of inbounds coming back from Europe and the UK and less departures. The Ryanair was close to the aircraft in front, just standard, but the aircraft in front was told to vacate taxiway E5 and then realised it was too big to take it, so had to go down to E6. Since the Ryanair was fast approaching the runway the controller sent him around as the aircraft on the runway had already slowed to taxi speed on the runway and was slow getting off.

    Anything in particular you didn't understand? I've been here a while so I understand the terminology now but of course users that aren't so farmilar with the thread wouldn't.

    E5/E6 are taxiways. On RWY28/10 at Dublin there is E1-E7. Aircraft leave the runway onto these taxiways. In ATC you'll hear them referred to as "Echo5" etc. An aircraft that was landing realised that they weren't going to.be slow enough to vacate the runway via E5, so they continued onto E6, this prolonged their time on the Runway, which caused the next arrival to be too close for safety so the aircraft went around, basically took off again.

    Flight training. Each member of flight crew must do I think it's 6 takeoff and landings, not sure I'm sure someone knows better.

    Most likely new pilots after finishing their type ratings, the final part of the training is 6 take offs and landings in the aircraft before they can go out on the line.
