I wouldn't like to call it either way. Cissokho being close to fitness too also confuses things. Basically, I don't think I'd be getting in Hutton, Lowton or Cissokho. If you already have Hutton, then that's a tougher one. If I had Hutton, I feel I'd want another guaranteed starter from another team as back up!

I have Ivanovic, Bertie, Hutton, Bellerin and dawson

Ivan and Bertie both start obviously.
I don't want Dawson to start if at all possible

If Hutton doesn't start is he likely to come on for a cameo appearance?
Would you start Hutton or Bellerin (not guaranteed either)

Also a toughie - I'd say there's definitely a chance of Hutton coming on at some stage. Bacuna can also play midfield, so if one of the mids aren't performing, Hutton could come on for a mid, and Bacuna be pushed forward. However, by all accounts Chambers hasn't been too impressive, so I'd have thought (though I'm no expert on Arsenal) that Bellerin will more than likely be starting? I think i'd be going for Bellerin in this case (if I had him!).

Essentially, it seems to me like Bellerin is more likely to start than Hutton, so I'd go with him to avoid any nasty 1 pointers.

Am I mad for thinking of starting Cresswell ahead of Austin and going 4-4-2?

    My defence would be:

    Cresswell - Bertrand - Clyne - Bellerin

That being said, maybe doubling up on Southampton is a bad idea?

I have Hutton Pva and Wolly so it's a case of wondering who to take out. If Wolly is fit ill probably sit tight.

Have those 3 as well. Just done Jones to Bertrand so hoping Wolly is fit because I can't see Hutton or PVA playing.

    So it'll be:

    Bertrand Terry Wolly

There is no way I'd bench austin this week. I think he is a good captaincy choice this week. Everton were playing in Ukraine last night.

Anybody got any news on Wollscheid?
I kind of want to get in Alderweild for him if injured or PVA, but have a feeling that Advocaat might play PVA in an attacking role so would like to hold out to see. Might even end up banking this transfer...

I would make the switch very little has come out but it is a long term problem he has had with it so I wouldn't be surprised if they were a little more cautious with it than normal which may be why we have heard so little about it. Stoke presser is at 2.30pm so maybe we will be given some info then.

Very risky to ever bench a striker on pens in favour of a defender. The upside is much higher with the striker

Oh cool, if the Stoke press conference is at 2:30 I'll hang on until this evening. To be honest, wolly has had one good week in the 6-7 weeks I have had him so I won't be too sorry to see him go.
I am not sure why so many are writing PVA off with a new Dutch manager coming in. If anything I would think he is a favourite to be a starter?

That's my thinking with Pva they could switch to a 352 or he could play in an attacking role.

Anything I can do with this team? Have 1 FT with 1.5m ITB.

    Myhill

    Bertrand Terry Wolly

    Silva Sanchez Hazard Sterling

    Austin Kane Aguero

    Subs: Foster, Boyd, Hutton, PVA.

I just done Jones to Bertrand. Ideally I'd be looking at getting Costa in shortly but don't know where the funds are going to come from :( defence probably needs sorted a bit more as well. Any thoughts please?

Yeh definitely don't make a transfer at this time of day always better to leave it as late as possible.

1FT but undecided on what to do! Bank it maybe? Any opinions?

    Myhill

    Terry | Alderweireld | Rose

    Hazard | Silva | Cazorla | Eriksen

    Aguero | Kane | Austin

    Bench: Siggy, Bellerin, PVA

100% I would bank with that team this week.

Agreed but I am off to a wedding reception this evening so I won't be able to do anything after 5pm. Given that I am off on a long drive in an hour or so, I'll only have a short window when I get up there to get the transfer done, but I'll hold off until then. :D

Have 1 free transfer for this week but not sure what to do.

Want to eventually get in Terry/Ivanovic instead of Zouma I suppose but other than that I'm not too sure!

    Thanks for advice!

If you're up for a punt, I'd do Eriksen to Henderson and then use the spare cash for a Zouma upgrade.

Will not get near a computer later to sort team for this GW...
    CURRENT DEFENCE-
    Forster
Clyne Terry and one from Bellerin Lei A
    Bruce Che H
    Dawson Man City A

Am inclined to go with Bellerin....is there a chance he will be rested though?

Any advice in next few hours greatly appreciated.

I've gone with Bellerin, though there's a chance he will be rested yeah. Apparently he looked very tired against Monaco. Only have Dawson first sub but he'll do if he's needed.

    @ Bleating Lamb.

For what it's woth FFS have Bellerin in Arsenal starting line-up. Your best bet is to play him anyway isn't it? Both Bruce & Dawson have a horrible fixture. And if Bellerin doesn't feature it's a coin toss... We can expect a backlash from City after this past week results and Chelsea will also probably want to show that there's not a hope for the title to City and Arsenal. Worst case scenario is Bellerin given a late cameo appearance (think it already happened didn"'t it?)... But this 1 pt could be as valuable as what both Bruce and/or Dawson would get anyway ;).

I'd sit on it for this week, obviously you are praying for Zouma to get the start but Moreno is a decent sub to bring in. The rest of your team is rock solid for this week, Eriksen out would be a risky move at home to Leicester, he's been very unlucky not to return better recently.
It will allow you a decent overhaul next week to punt on the DGW or just perform a bit of surgery, no need for that this week.

    I'd go Siggy

Siggy the nice fixtures go on a little longer than Chadlis and a lot lower risk that he gets rotated.

Well that's as good a reason as ever to ditch the 10.7m disaster.

Who's the best alternative to go along with this sorry bunch...
    Hazard
    Ozil
    Eriksen
    Ameobi
    Kane
    Aguero
    Sturridge

Silva's the obvious answer but I'd prefer to avoid MC completely, they've been awful recently. Mane would leave 4.3 in the bank which feels wrong.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,186 ✭✭✭Nichololas

Silva is the obvious one yeah, or double up on an Arsenal mid. Sterling or Coutinho maybe, although they have ManU then Arsenal the next two fixtures. Swansea have a good run of fixtures so maybe Sigurdsson, either.

Well, if you do go Silva you'll have the same front 7 that I have and that cant be a good thing
