    No Metroid?

Bioshock Infinite looked pretty but don't you think the game content was a little... derivative? Well, obviously not because you've it in your top 10.

    And you put in RE:Revelations????
It's fun but no where near the likes of the REmake on the GC and Wii, in fact the main reason it stands out as being good is because it doesn't suck as bad as RE's 5 and 6.
Silent Hill 2 is a far far better game imho

    I genuinely mean it.

Awful, awful shooting mechanics - I mean ME2 and ME3 are very limited in gameplay but at least the mechanics were refined.

A soundtrack nowhere near as memorable.

    Awful Mako sections.

    Less engaging characters.

    Poorer voice acting.

    Massive loading screens.

It seems to me that the ability to tinker with different weapons was one of the main arguments for people who preferred ME1. I fully admit I played ME1 after playing the other two but it was a genuine disappointment.

Thought you meant they were better than Fallout 1 and 2, sorry.

ME1 was a better RPG with better player choice but have to agree ME2 and 3 were better games.

    Yeah.

ME3 was by far the most polished and the multiplayer was huge fun (biggest reason I can't wait for ME4, maybe 2015?) but the story was a bag of mickeys, in particular because the ending was a plot-hole ridden mess.

Once you got over the quirks in ME some bits of gameplay were decent enough but ME2 had the best balance - gone were the cookie-cutter side missions, less buggy, less terrible looking, far better combat (biotics and tech abilities especially).

Amazing how you forget games but I will not change my top 10. What the hell, run with it.

The final result will not be definitive. It's like movies, either subjective or simply, what happens to pop into your mind at any given time. There is no such thing as a definitive list - it doesn't exist.
