I've never done rollouts amd while it's been an optional exercise in what I've been doing in recent weeks, I haven't had time.

So I bought an ab wheel in D8 the other day.

Jesus, the DOMS. Great exercise but DOMS.

Most in the abs or arms/shoulders too?

I wish they'd spread to my arms and shoulders.

To be fair, I did get carried away and did a load of them in between each door that git an undercoat and then the top coat...

Would this suffice as your main ab/core workout then?

At the minute, it's my main direct core work.

But it's no necessarily the only core work.

What's the story with Clarence lately? Haven't heard much about him in months.

After releasing a line of videos of him taking the piss out of gravity, he released a tricking video saying something about taking it easy for a while

I guess when you can front squat 210kg for reps, 180kg is a piece of piss.

Doesn't always work out like that though

Found this interesting...especially about the hands.

    And the homunculus.

This is something I've noticed during training as well. When pushing hard in training and beginning to over reach I notice that my hands begin to feel tingly/achy. It's a hard feeling to describe but you basically dread holding the bar as it just doesn't feel comfortable. Other signs of pushing too hard that I've noticed (that coincide with the sore hands) are degradation of technique, speed and flexibility.

It makes sense, especially considering how innervated the hands are, but I just never would have made the connection.

When I have a really tough jiu jitsu match. It's the hands that get smoked the most. Forearms and hands feel half numb, half pumped. Recovery is slow enough, which can be a nightmare when you've another match in 12 mins.

I got the beef isolate form bulkpowders before.
it was the worst thing I've ever encountered.
I wrote them a stern email.

They did have some disclaimer that it wasn't great at mixing but it wasn't fit for consumption full stop

I got the chocolate peanut one to try it out for the craic
It is very heavy tasting. It does also taste like snickers though
Still wouldn't buy it again, the aftertaste is mank

Started making the boards protein bars with different flavoured protein. So good! I recommend chocolate orange.

Which brand did you get? I love the one in Aldi - don't find the Golden Acre one as nice.

Twas Golden Acre...happened upon it looking for something else. It's the only one I've tried so no frame of reference for other brands bit I liked it. Bit more calorie dense than greek/decent greek-style Yoghurts but nice.

Golden Acre is grand, but seriously the Aldi one is a whole other level :D Also slightly lower calories, a bit closer to the Fage/Liberte range iirc.

I see discount supplements are now selling myprotein stuff in store and online - bodyfirst started doing it a couple of months back too. Interesting development in terms of the direction myprotein are going in with a greater bricks and mortar retail presence.

Could be handy if you only want one or two MP things and can combine with non-MP stuff and get free shipping or if you need them in a hurry.

    Kerrigans butchers do it too.

Yeah I've been making them consistently now for the best part of three years. I think they're brilliant. I have the method and recipe down to a tee and it doesn't take me too long to make them.

Same. They're the best recipe I've tried. Try it with different flavoured powders. So good.

It's basically the same though. I learnt that at a cheese farm a week ago. Greek yogurt strained in muslin = labna, which is (I think) similar to quark

    It's all chunky protein goodness

You're right. It just looked as though the 250g pot of quark was the same size as the 150g pot of yoghurt. It's not - just checked there now. Macros were roughly the same but better for quark - seems like I had a brain fart.

Either way I got more today and lashed it into me
