I already did this as I am sick of this thread been hijacked.

Not only that, it's been flown into a metaphorical Twin Towers :(

What's happened is very sad but it's being played up no end. Do you recall in the wake of September 11th, every incident in NYC, every light plane crash - all made headlines and all were erroneously ascribed to terrorism.

We still don't know who or what is behind all this.

Hope they've the death penalty in Boston.

Mass. doesn't but any suspect could be tried by the Federal Government if this is seen as a federal case and they still have the DP. I think (but am not sure) that McVeigh was actually executed by the government as opposed to the state of Oklahoma.

It's been called a terrorist attack, but not sure if International or domestic. Sickening...

Could be from anything. People love making up stuff in these situations sadly.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Jesus, looking at those videos on Sky....

I can't imagine being there. One explosion, and as you're still trying to come to terms with it, another? I'd personally probably roll into a ball and cry.

They just mentioned about the person they have on the common on the scanners. Nothing detailed, just what to do. They were advices to wait for the JTT (?!?) to interview him, nothing else as yet just still detained

Dublin (17) Cork (2) Galway (5) are all reported safe

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,041 ✭✭✭Seachmall

Scanner just mentioned that "the suspect" was detained an hour ago and they're waiting for some acronym to interrogate him.

    The fuck is going on?

Saying that it was planned by the FBI.

wonder if they recieved prior warning and tried to find the devices

Someone on Fox News just said it may have been an act of terrorism.

Do they have a different definition for the word or something?

Surely two bombs going off in a crowded street is enough to suggest it was an act of terrorism.

Don't think it helps anyone if he starts getting emotional. He's there to provide leadership.
