    Conan

Leon takes way too long to kill someone

  • Registered Users Posts: 495 ✭✭ChaseThisLight

Yeah, I think Leon cares a bit too much. His emotions could get in the way.

    I vote Conan.

(And thank you, Micky, for sticking with Arnold and not using the awful remake)

  • Registered Users Posts: 44,080 ✭✭✭✭Micky Dolenz

I'm going to go with Leon. He is a master of evasion and exactly the skill you need in the early days. He would be thoughtful and precise when attacking our enemy. I'll think brains over brawn any day.

Conan is just a bit gung ho for my liking.

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

    Conan! :)

    Conan! :)

    I second this!

    This one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0816462/

Granted I've not seen it, but from the previews - and from the guy cast as Conan (who is not a great actor at all, his best role ever was Kahl Drogo on Game of Thrones; no acting needed to grunt) - I don't want or need to.

i going against the grain and taking the fellow who can kill from a distance or up close.
    Leon for the win

I just knew Conan would show up on this sooner or later (thanks Micky)

But as much as I love the big dumb ox, he'd never survive the zombie appocalypse. He just doesn't have the smarts.

Leon will, and he might just ensure that I do too.

    So, plus one for Leon

    Going for conan

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,674 ✭✭✭Peetrik

Conan's distain for full armor, while admirable, is a health risk, I'm going to have to vote for Leon because as Micky said, he's a survivor and also because I don't fancy my chances against a zombie the size of Conan after he inevitably gets bitten or scratched.

    Leon gets my vote.

    Leon. Calm under pressure. Meticulous.

Conan is way to gung-ho, he'd be surrounded and overpowered in seconds...

  • Registered Users Posts: 44,080 ✭✭✭✭Micky Dolenz

Conan takes a tight battle 6-5

Next and second last battle of round 1 coming up shortly.

    Robin Hood

  • Registered Users Posts: 495 ✭✭ChaseThisLight

Damn. Domino is such a badass. Yet Robin Hood is dead on with the bow and arrow.

I keep thinking of Daryl from The Walking Dead (though he's way cooler than Costner's Robin Hood, hands down) and how important it is to have weapons that do the job quietly.

I'm gonna go with Robin Hood.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,065 ✭✭✭Kash

Robin Hood - that skill with a bow would come in very handy, silent and deadly equals safe. Plus, he's used to living off the land.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭Daisy M

Robin Hood for his bow and arrow skills.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,169 ✭✭✭Zomg Okay

    Robin Hood.

    Brave Sir Robin! :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,148 ✭✭✭✭Lemming

Will have to go with Mr.Lockseley too. He's used to having sod all technology to survive with, living off the land, hiding in forests, and using all manner of sharp & pointy stuff in a most accurate fashion. He also apparently has a younger brother who is equally capable, so odds of surviving go up by nearly double.

Has to be Robin, knows how to live off the land, silent ranged weapon(Best imo) can make his own ammo, well used to gurillia tactics and good leadership abilities.

Ooooh - does that mean we've reached round two?

I wouldn't trust either as far as I could spit. With the premise of "I don't have to outrun the zombies, I only have to outrun you" in mind, I'd pick Bertie, I think I'd enjoy seeing him work up a sweat before he gets mobbed.

    Bertie gets my vote

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,065 ✭✭✭Kash

I think I'd leave both of them behind.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,169 ✭✭✭Zomg Okay

I'd bring Bertie along, with a "Shane & Otis" plan in mind. ;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 495 ✭✭ChaseThisLight

Judging by the above responses, they'd both be best used as zombie fodder, which could get dangerous as neither looks trustworthy.

I'd leave them both behind and make a go of it on my own.

Neither of them have any fighting skills or any useful attributes whatsoever.
However, Ahern has expert level sneakiness.
Would sacrifice untold numbers of women and children to save himself but would ultimately snake away unscathed.

Would probably end up convincing the Zombies to elect him as their leader and would then live out his days living it up at the expense of his Zombie vassals.

    Kenny wouldn't last 5 minutes.
