i'm female, tried it and didn't like it
o god there's no way i could do it, maybe it's just me, but sex id the last thing i want at that time, i just feel gross and greasy and want cuddles, which my boyfriend is happy to provide me with!

it's horrible to call a guy immature for not wanting to do it!!! i wouldn't wanna partake in sex with a man who had blood coming from his "man parts"!

it's only 3-7 days without sex, there's plenty of time to make up for it at other times!

    as requested, poll added :)

Wonder how many of us voted before we realised it was public :pac:

Not for me anyway. I'm on the pill and don't see my boyfriend too often so if I know I'll see him I usually just take 2 packs back to back. Only ever interrupted us a couple times and wasn't a big deal. He said he'd be fine with it, but I'm shy :o

Even though I'm really horny when I'm on my period I just can't bring myself to do it. I just treat the few days as Blow-job days for himself. Everyone's a winner :-)

I've done it before but wouldn't be overly keen to repeat it. It's just a bit too messy...

How are you a winner if he's getting blow jobs and you're getting nothing? Genuinely curious! :)

Never ever. I can't imagine how is it so see my mickey covered in blood, etc.
IMO it's a sick idea to be honest.
I pretend I've just murdered someone using my cawk.

Anyway, I don't mind it but don't particularly like it if you know what I mean, so usually its a question of if she wants to or not.

:D Reminds me of that old expression 'keep the women happy'!

I wonder does this throw the whole "i'm male and i do it, it doesn't bother me" option on the poll into question? I.e. does it translate in cases to 'i'm male and i don't particularly like it, but sure she wants to so...'

Actually, looking at the poll choices again, it's interesting that the no-side options refer to disliking the thought/act while the yes-side options refer to not being bothered as opposed to actually liking the act. ;)

I'd say you're into a fairly niche fetish there tbh.

I love it. G/f has a shower, a bit of oral and then the main event. She goes wild. I think she actually looks forward to it! Awful mess to clean up thoughicon8.gif!!

I read through this thread a few weeks ago but didn't add anything.

Last night, my girlfriend and I had sex and yes, she was on the blood-flood and some comments from this thread popped into my head!

There wasn't anywhere near as much mess as I thought, she thoroughly enjoyed it as she was randy as could be. Now, I wouldn't consider myself to be a freak or anything but I did have a peek down to see how things were going. I saw blood and for some strange reason, it got me excited. Don't ask how or why because I don't know :o

Not something I would have a problem with if that lady in question is happy to proceed.. As some have testified here, some girls are unbelievably horny at this time of the month.. So always happy to oblige and help a lady in need :D

Indeed. Never refuse a willing woman.

First they came for the socialists...

I've done it and havent found it that bad tbh but all depends on how heavy the girl has it, was never an issue with me anyway

I'm kinda surprised at all this 'Girls are so horny during this time' talk. There is no time when I feel more unsexy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,289 ✭✭✭Howard the Duck

Yep i have , Blood has never bothered me and i'm not a 12 year old boy any more who makes a face and sick noises when someone mentions periods.

Completely unfair. Menstrual blood is not nice - is it really so immature to just not like the idea of sex with it present?
If this was about a woman not liking giving head, there would be uproar if there were dismissive comments directed at her the way there are to reasonable men here. And semen is "cleaner" than menstrual blood.

That comment was more about some guys reaction to any talk about periods at all and not about sex during a woman's period , of course it's up to the individuals involved whether or not they want to do that and i don't think it's immature if they choose not to.

The two ain't mutually exclusive though!

Can't say I would now, its disturbing. I tried it a couple of times and there is a different feeling, not so much more friction as more... rubbery? I was tricked into it after nightfall by one former girlfriend so I've come to recognise the sensation. :D

I dunno, I just never feel attractive or really up for anything during this time. I just wanna curl up and stay in bed. My periods can be pretty bad though. :(

Did it before, wouldn't do it again. He was a bit repulsed by it, when he looked down and saw what was going on (he obvs already knew!) it turned him straight off it. As for me, I thought the sensation was absolutely crap and a waste of excitement! Better off to wait til I'm finished it and then have the "yay we can do it again" rumble!

Anyone who is having sex should know and understand that AIDS can be transmitted through blood so this is definitely one for the committed long term relationship.

Yeah, this, and also the discomfort of it. I generally feel a bit icky during mine, so despite the occasional spike in libido, I just don't really want anyone touching me intimately.

Plus I kinda like taking a few days off full penetration, it makes the first time after all the more explosive :) And of course if you mix it up there's plenty of other stuff you can do.

Some of the best sex I have had was when the girl was having her period, they get so horny. Only thing is to try and avoid giving oral.

Deffo, need a dark towel underneath.

TRY? Why under any circumstances would any guy even contemplate it?

Why should it be his decision? Is it his body? That is outrageous. If my partner has a few days each month where he wasn't feeling up to sex i'm not going to throw a strop about it. I'd understand completely, especially with cramps etc

Same goes for horny menstruating women being pissed off with their bfs if they are not into it. It's so strange to see some saying that it is grounds for breaking up.

We are talking about 4 days tops! It shouldn't even be an issue in a mature relationship ... maybe therein lies the key to this whole debate!

why not answer the question instead of going off into some rant from the extreme end of feminism twisting a reasonable question into one which is outrageous when it's not ? Is he happy to go for a few days without sex ? How does he feel about it ? It's a simple question. And it's a question about him and how he feels not about you. You already got 99% of the post so why go on the defensive about a question concerning the other 1%? In as you say a ''mature relationship'' you should have at least some notion about how he feels during those times.
