GT5 Touring Car Championship on Tuesdays

Right lads, to complement Kev_PS3's Championship on the weekend I'm thinking of hosting a Championship for midweek. I was thinking Tuesdays at 9.

We could start with a Touring Car type Race on Monza. An easy track to start.
It'll be a one car race for the first one anyway. This car will be chosen from the online garage so nobody will need to buy a car. I might widen the field to two or three in the following rounds.

FIRST RACE TONIGHT @ 2100.

Lobby Name: AIR-AUSSIE Brds Touring Car Championship

Qualifying starts 2030.

30 minute session.
Fastest goes on pole. I will give a 3 minute count down to the race so as to give people a chance to get a flying lap in.


Length: Two races of 5 laps (Reverse Grid for second race*)
Car: VW Golf V GTI '05
Circuit: Monza

* I'm not exactly sure how this works so it may not work will see what happens.






Restrictions:
No Tire Restrictions - I'd recommend racing softs as the race is fairly short.
No additions or weight reductions allowed.
You may tinker with your car set-up as much as the default car allows.

Right lads, the plan was to use the VW Golf in the online garage menu. So no race modifications. I am not at my PS3 at the moment so I'm not sure of the exact model but I'm nearly certain there's only one.

Everyone in the same car. To see if we get closer racing and so nobody has to buy a car.

Sorry I didn't make it very clear. I'll add everyone to my PSN tonight before the race. The lobby should be open @ 2030 tonight.

Yes it is just the stock gti. A Golf IV GTI RM '01 I believe.

Format sounds good, same car race will be interesting. 5 laps is perfect too. Can you pick any tyres for online garage cars?

Golf V GTI 2005 is the only Golf in the online garage so I presume that's the one we are all gonna use?
