It's a shame all my saves are on my 360 but I've decided to switch to the PC version now so I won't have the same problem with ME3. The mouse option should allow me to target body parts more accurately (the control pad just doesn't do it for me) and the fact that it's cheaper also helps.

My last character was a Vanguard so I reckon that's the way I'll continue.

I presume that even if you are importing a character from ME1 that you will start at the same base stats as if you'd just started a new character. I know that I have a Vanguard character from the first game but I assume the only thing that carries forward is the decisions he's made and not the stats he currently has?

Can anyone with the game confirm this?

I'm looking forward to the game. I played as a vanguard in ME1, will use my original character in ME2 again I think.

Anyone know what the current xtra vision trade in for assassins creed 2 is? I need to finish it, but then sending it to gamesnash, getting the credit and ordering it with said credit means I might not have it by the weekend.

Also, Mr. K, I'm not too familiar with Edge, are they a pretty reputable reviewer (I mean, as far as most modern ones can be)?

To put that figure in perspective, they gave Mass Effect a 7/10.

All the reviews have been really positive so far - I can't wait. I hope somewhere starts selling it early. Between college and work I'll have no opportunity to play it on Friday or Saturday.

I got an assassin creed belt (big leather & metal thing)from Smyths.
I think the only stuff you get this time is the DLC, wouldn't mind a T-shirt with A big N7 on it so i don't look like too much of a nerd in my belt and cape.


for anyone who can deal with spoilers GameTrailers have a new section/show called Onehour starts this week with ME2 show the full unedited first hour of game play.
may be good to see the different outcomes to your after playing that first hour yourself.

I am really hopeful for this, I don't like reading reviews because it might put me in a certain mind set, for or against, when playing it.

I want to give this a fair chance as I have heard there are improvements. I have played most of the recent BioWare games and ME has by far the best narrative.

Just about to finish Borderlands too, think I will play Batman AA and then pick this up.

edit: Can you download stuff for a game you don't have? ie. does the 360 look for a save game etc before it downloads or something?
