Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ben is off on one hell of a rant about the legislation that Tom is worried about.

Apparently this legislation has come about due to some case that Ben obviously has an interest in they was before the courts in the last few weeks. According to his esteemed knowledge the Vulture funds went to FG and Ff with bags of cash to get this passed. So they could lie and take peoples homes.

Oh .. and we are all peasants and British subjects and Irish men have no balls .... he gets really animated when the net tightens on his fantasy world

Law Reform Commission has been saying we should make this amendment since 1980.

Vulture funds clearly got to them 40 years ago...

And of course the same vulture funds went with the same bags of cash to travel back in time to the Law Reform Commission to make them write this into their 2016 report on the Law of Evidence.

A photo that Benroy posted up this morning was inspected by the Facebook Fact Check police. You can guess what their take on it was

    Do I understand
"She said she asked two solicitors in the Circuit Court that day to represent her but they "walked away""

to mean that she asked two random solicitors that were present but not engaged by her, to take her case on the spot?

If so, how quickly do you think they ran out of there?

Naturally the Hub and all it's lackeys have been disgusted about the eviction. One wonders what Jerry Beades would make of it all ;)

In other news I see that The Hub are once again homeless, they being unable to pay the rent to their landlord. Is this the third time in as many years?

Hard to have an opinion on it yet as there are so many unknowns. The usual mob have made their mind up after 5 minutes. Funnily enough the same crowd called off an anti eviction protest because a: it wasn't a mortgage owner and b: it was one of their mates collecting the rent.

b: it was one of their mates collecting the rent.

Why am I unsurprised by these shams.

Including the naming and shaming a security company that was not involved. Story is full of holes if one reads between the lines.

If you run the video to the end you will notice that the caller to the door is a Garda Sergeant. A normal man would take that as hint enough to answer the door.

curious as to what her legal qualifications are as she isnt a solicitor or barrister.

A quick look on the Irish Times archive says that...

"Ciara Ruschitzko is a barrister but “not a member of the Law Library”. She helps lay litigants manage cases and said: “On a daily basis I am shocked, appalled and sickened by what I see going on in the courts.”

For the record she shows up on the LSRA roll of practising barristers but then again she also comes up on this thread in the past as having dealing with the usual suspects.

Her Linkedin declares her to have worked for The Hub as a lawyer for 5 years. The proof of the pudding.....

Odd that the other like- minded people are not identified in the article.;)

''Ciara thought how she could help people to put their lives back on track and over the years has met like-minded people, which led to the establishment of Chara Legal.

“We all have a similar vision. It is not just about court; it’s all about empowering people with the skills, back-up knowledge and support to put their lives back on track. This can take many guises and we have many services.''

One of those companies (Watershed International Securities Limited) previously had Charles William Allen of Leighlinbridge, County Carlow as a director. The same Charles William Allen that is a director of Prior Park Assets CLG which has an interesting history.

Of course this Charlie Allen from Carlow may well be a different Charlie Allen from just across the border in a place called Prior Park in Kilkenny who we all know well in this thread.

They are all interconnected .. generally through a network of individuals who gambled on property during the celtic tiger ... don’t want to pay the loans back or give over the property and still collect the rent.

It’s a network of people who know that they can game the system by wasting court time and burying their heads in the sand

In almost other jurisdictions this type of activity would just be deemed fraud

The previous owner of the property Gerry Ward is well Freeman-y.

When Bank of Ireland came looking for €776k from him, he claimed that he'd already paid them with a promissory note of his own concoction. He also went down the rabbit hole of questioning every aspect of affidavits filed, concluding that every judge who had heard affidavits evidence against him was a wrong 'un and he should be handsomely rewarded for pointing this out...
In the alternative he seeks that the proceedings under Record Number 2016/6238P (being the receiver’s proceedings against him in the High Court) be dismissed on the basis that all the plaintiff’s pleadings are not lawfully constituted, and where six named judges who have dealt with various applications and motions in those proceedings “are deemed to have vacated their respective offices as judges under Article 34.6.4 of the Constitution, and have facilitated perversion of justice in favour of the plaintiff/respondent”. He goes on to seek costs in a sum not less than €175,000.

If we go back in this thread, there are examples of Ben and others acting as a sort of letting agent looking for "receiver proof tenants" i.e. cash to me please and act dumb and kick up a stink if someone looks for possession. There's a lot of these properties in the inner City in Dublin where there may be an extra layer of a middleman who acts as the "tenant", renting the property as a nice professional couple or at least that's the story that's spun. Next step is to put in bunk beds and cram in as many cash paying bodies as possible. Complete exploitation of the current housing crisis.

Absolute slumlords in reality. But looks like fraudulently collecting rents - wasn't ben's own nephew in one of these disputed rentals - early on in lockdown.

If the rental income is 'grey' surely the revenue are not being given their slice of the action ?

He was a tenant in the property formerly owned by Gerry Beades. No shocks to see who and when his letting was arranged
