Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

All I had today were chicken and mushroom jambons. I would kill for a Chinese but MUST resist.

    Jambons, or vol au vonts?

I've never heard of a chicken and mushroom jambon, but if it exists I'm intrigued.

Jambons I know are ham and cheese but this range does a chicken and mushroom variety as well. Lidl have them in the freezer section.

Aldi /Iceland have them too , not 100% certain but I think the chicken and mushroom ones are called panniers or something ?

Ah for the love of God, nearly half eleven at night and I get an email alert about jambons.

You're right actually. I just call them jambons because of the shape. Dumbo here :o

Nachos with salsa and cheese and a can of Guinness.

Top tip ; crack open can quickly, wait about 20 seconds while it fizzes out, pour into dry pint glass at an angle.

At about 70 cent a pint and no work in the morning I might have another one.

Rosie's Dew, nice tack, I bought a few of them for Christmas and just fancied something different, would never normally drink on a school night but "working" from home tomorrow so why not ;)

Actually having a cider the night before working at home can have revitalizing effects and you'll actually get a lot more done than you normally would :pac:

Cold can of Bulmers to wash down the homemade chicken supper.

Made enchiladas with plenty of veg, I was ravenous when I started - so banged a ever handy chilli from the freezer into the micro.

The enchiladas can be had for dinner tomo , extra portions for the freezer !!

Can't thank my mother enough for teaching me to overcook & freeze portions !!

I pigged out so badly yesterday but one of the things I had was a Milano’s thin base pizza. I have not had one in ages , I though it was much nicer than I remember. I don’t know if their quality has improved or I was just so hungry it tasted better !

Mrs G had a WWs Chicken Tikka Massala. Little G. had a roast chicken breast and chips. I had a beer, but I'm planning on a steak n chips later with McDonnells curry sauce over it.

Poor Mrs G is still struggling with a cough that is tearing the life out of her. Doc wasn't very helpful but we're hoping the steroids and antibiotics eventually help. Her appetite is okay though.:D

The only thing with mine was the tomato was over ripe but I ate it anyway then I went and got some fresher ones for my sambo and the difference was unreal. Nice and juicy.
