    What happened to Paddy Morrow?

    What happened to Paddy Morrow?

Was actually gonna ask about that. Christ knows he's been with the promotion long enough, to be left out of that list doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense, at least not to me anyway!

Unless he's still out from the sick bump he took at the April show.

I had a quick glance at the IWA Mid-South results from the weekend and I noticed the names of Captain Rooney and LA Warren. I assume it's the guys from IWW, so fair play to them for getting booked there. IWA MS is one of the bigger indy promotions

Captain Rooney was on tour in the USA for a month, while LA Warren has gone for a 3 month tour.

The other IwW crew members on numerous weekend tours over the months of July & August are:
    Mad Man Manson
    Red Vinny
    Ballymun Brusier
    Blagger Boy
    Bingo Ballance

Not forgetting Harry Hardshaw who is now a regular with AWF in Australia.

We will post up results from these shows soon.

OK as an IwW fan I've got to say that this is ridiculous!!!!!!

I mean to put on an early show on the day of the All Ireland final!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK so if it was at the regular time of 6-7 then maybe it'd be ok. Everyone could probably get to watch the match and then head out for the show but when they show and the match start at the same time that's just not possible.

And lets talk about where the show is being held; MEATH!!!!! The same Meath who could well be in the final!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean the whole county will probably be in Croke Park or in front of a TV if they manage to go all the way and I think they can take Cork on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally don't think I'll be there, I always watch the match myself and considering Dublin could well be in I'd defo be watching it. What makes it even worse is that the Dunshaughlin show's are usually really good.

    Yours,
    A pi***d off IwW fan

Thanks for the heads up & concern.

We book our venues months in advance. Based on both their and our availability, we then select a date. Depending on the outcome of Sundays match, we will make a press release if it needs to be changed.

We ran a show the afternoon of the World Cup Final, last year, and drew a healthy crowd.

Once again thanks for the post.

Is the IWW site ever going to be updated again, and is the forum ever going to be back online? Now i realise the "web team" are probably working "round the clock" on this, but its been down for about 6 weeks, and the main page is still showing Doomsday in June as the next big event.

The Webmaster is working on all aspects of the Website, also, he has been working on graphics for our upcoming events & tour, hence the delays.

IwW will be announcing details of our '5th Anniversary National Tour', which will visit various Counties in Ireland & Northern Ireland, this weekend. Almost half a dozan International names will be forth coming too.

Plus, ordering details of the 'Global Impact' DVD will be made available too. The DVD was completed this week.

    GLOBAL IMPACT DVD RELEASED

    iwwdvd_cover_02j.jpg

It was perhaps the most historic, action-packed and internationally star-studded Irish professional wrestling cards in history. Now it can be yours to own on DVD.

IwW Global Impact took place in July last in front of a sold out crowd in The Forum, Waterford and rocked the Irish wrestling world from its foundations with a jam-packed line-up featuring stars who had performed in WWE, TNA, RoH, Pro-Wrestling NOAH and Dragon Gate among elsewhere taking on the very best Ireland has to offer today.

With titles up for grabs, scores to be settled and names to be made, all was on the line and you can watch it all unfold via the comfort of your very own home by purchasing this DVD exclusive.

    Included in the jam-packed line-up:

Bam Katrazz defends his IwW Zero Gravity Championship against Pac and Bingo Ballance in an unmissable, pulsating, action-packed triple-threat encounter.

Dragon Gate's Ippei Ota faces a challenge like he's never seen before when he takes on 'The Insane One' Mad Man Manson.

Ballymun Bruiser attempts to make a household name of himself when he challenges ring veteran and former RoH Pure Champion, Doug Williams.

Dragon Kid makes his Irish debut taking on the man who idolised him before becoming a professional wrestler, 'The Heretic' Red Vinny.

Kid Kash and former GHC Heavyweight Champion, Takeshi Rikio, provide the challenge for young Irish sensation Mandrake to overcome in the latter's effort to prove himself to be one of the brightest young talents in pro-wrestling today.

IwW International Heavyweight Champion, Vic Viper, must overcome Dragon Gate stalwart CIMA in an effort to retain the gold.

PLUS: World of Sport legend Chic Cullen referees, DVD extras including pre and post-match interviews and much, much more!

Given as i happen to live down the road from this place, but last i checked, Artane is Dublin 5, not Dublin 3.

Just in case anyone tries to contact em via post, it can cause delays (or goes looking around Ballybough/Marino/Fairview/Clontarf looking for it) :)

    CELTIC REVOLUTION III CARD RELEASED!
Celtic Pro Management have released the full card for Celtic Revolution III, Saturday 15

In the main event; Neil Frenzy will defend his Celtic Pro Championship against Insano, in a Last Man Standing Match.

Insano won the right to choose the main event 2 months ago when he won the ‘Destiny Calling’ battle royale. This Saturday, will mark the one-year anniversary of Insano and Frenzy’s first in-ring encounter. They crossed paths last year at Revolution II, in a Tag Team match. Last year Frenzy came away with the victory, will lightning strike twice?

Speaking of Lightning…Lee Lightning will team up with Bullet-Proof Ciaran Gallagher to take on the Celtic Pro Tag Team champions, D4!, ‘Studly’ Steve and ‘Awesome’ Andy in a Tag Team “I Quit” match.

Many are saying that this is not D4!’s match. ‘Awesome’ Andy has already lost a one-on-one match to Lightning and Ciaran Gallagher has been labelled as a man who will never quit.

Celtic Revolution III will be the night to settle grudges.

First, Lenny Hanan will fight ‘The Convict’ John Jennings. “Fight” is the operative word here. Jennings and Hanan have a deep mutual dislike for one-another. Both men signed on for this match with an objective. Hanan wants to be the first man in Celtic Pro to beat ‘The Convict’ and Jennings has signed up for this match because he wants an opportunity to “cut that Crumlin rat!”

Then, Max ‘The Hammer’ Martello will return and team with his Cosa Nostra stable mate, Napalm Hamilton. Martello and Hamilton will be looking for revenge on D4!’s ‘Delicious’ Darren and Danny ‘The Pain’. Martello was put out of action for almost six months by D4! And this Saturday he returns to settle the score.

Celtic Revolution will also feature a new concept: Revolution Roulette.

Darragh Galligan, Neo Dragon, Thunder Titan and ‘Sugar Free’ Brian Andrews will let their matches be decided by luck.

The first two names chosen will be involved in a Triple Threat match with NoLimitWrestling’s fastest-rising star, ‘All Star’ Anthony Idol.

The remaining two Celtic Pro stars will team up and enter the “First-Annual WrestlingMania All-Ireland Invitational Four-Corners Tag Team Gauntlet”>

They will be wrestling for the prestigious award against teams from all around Ireland.

NoLimitWrestling will be represented by Joey Cabray & Georgie Mac. NWAIreland will be represented by Sean South & Kev Rocks and Pro Wrestling Ulster will be represented by JDP and RODD.

Celtic Pro would like to thank WrestlingMania for their support and for providing the cup that these teams will be fighting for. WrestlingMania is located on the Top Floor of Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. And is the only store in Ireland completely dedicated to professional wrestling merchandise. For enquiries please call 014053525.

CELTIC REVOLUTION III takes place this Saturday, September 15, in the Good Counsel GAA club, Davitt Road, Drimnagh, D12. The event will include a full bar and a night of intense action from start to finish. Celtic Revolution III will have an earlier-than-usual start time…Doors will open at 5:45pm and the show will begin at 6:00pm sharp.

Hols are all used up for the year. I'm not that pushed though. Just don't get why they've decided to put Waterford on Fridays now instead of Saturdays, although the blame could easily be laid at the feet of the Forum too these days. Seems to be a lot busier in that place over the last six months.
