Holy ****. Daniels is coming?! Quality.

I've still got his sweat on my hand from 2 years ago, haven't been able to bring myself to wash it! I don't think McGuinness has wrestled in Ireland before, it'll be interesting to see how he plays it

EDIT: Yet another reason to make sure you get to this. Steve Corino has said that he plans for 2007 to be his last year wrestling. He's turned back on retirement plans before, but he sounds more serious this time. Can't wait to see him

These are the results from Celtic Pro 14: Triple Threat, held Sunday, January 28:

    · D4 (‘Awesome’ Andy & ‘Studly’ Steve) w/ Gerry Soul defeated The Emerald Fusion (The Celtic Tiger, Blake Norton & Bullet-Proof Ciaran Gallagher)

Fusion, the number-one contenders to the Celtic Pro tag team championship, were on their way to victory, when a miscommunication between Norton and Gallagher allowed ‘Awesome’ Andy to roll-up Gallagher for a three-count. After the contest, Gerry Soul unveiled his “iron-clad assurance policy” Danny ‘The Pain’ Domain. The 300+ pound Domain then proceeded to demolish both members of the Emerald Fusion. Afterwards, a despondent Gallagher took off his Emerald Fusion shirt, handed it to Norton and said, “I’m just holding you back.” Gallaher then left the arena, leaving Norton standing alone in the ring.

    · Napalm Hamilton w/ Max Martello defeated ‘Delicious’ Darren Holmes w/ Gerry Soul

Holmes came out to ringside on crutches, citing a “career and life-threatening ankle injury” An altercation outside the ring between Martello and Soul allowed Holmes, who no longer appeared to require crutches, to get the upper hand on Hamilton. However, Holmes could not contain the uber-intense Napalm, who fought back and scored a decisive victory with a

    · The J-Team (Adam Joyce & Darragh Galligan) defeated NWA Ireland’s Kev Rocks and Thunder Titan.

The J-Team swore vengeance on both their opponents before this match. Joyce vowed to exorcise a one-on-one loss to Thunder Titan a couple of months ago and Darragh…wanted to prove that he was a better singer and dancer than Kev Rocks. Galligan, an aspiring showband singer, then proceeded to sing WHAM!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” Galligan failed miserably to impress anyone in attendance, only adding to the frustration and anger that fuelled the J-Team. After a vicious encounter, Joyce exploited the referee’s poor positioning and hit Titan with a low blow and locked him in a dragon sleeper, forcing Titan to tap-out.

    · DOUBLE MAIN EVENT

    Number-One Contendership Triple Threat Match:

Neil Frenzy defeated NWA Ireland’s Phil ‘The Thrill’ Boyd and Irish Dragon

Neither Neil Frenzy nor Phil Boyd were expecting to have to contend with the legendary Irish Dragon; however, Frenzy survived an extremely hard-fought contest to become the number-one contender to the Celtic Pro Championship when he pinned Boyd

    Celtic Pro Championship Match:

Neil Frenzy defeated The Celtic Pro Champion, Amazing Insano w/ Big Dave

Neil Frenzy did not even get to celebrate his triple threat victory, before Insano rushed into the ring and began to administer a vicious beating to Frenzy. Despite repeated interference from Insano’s bodyguard, Big Dave; Frenzy managed to counter Insano’s tiger bomb into a hurricanrana, before hitting a hellacious Curb Stomp and covering Insano for a three-count. An emotional Frenzy embraced the Celtic Pro faithful who rushed to the ring to celebrate the victory.

The tickets in Sound Cellar were personally delivered by IwW officials and are completely valid for the SuperShow.

We're currently looking into solving the message boards problems, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Just an update on the message board situation: We're currently working on getting it back up but need to complete some last minute security issues to try and ensure this doesn't happen again. While admittedly we cannot guarantee that the forum won't be hacked, we hope these security measures will prove far more effective than the ones currently in place.

Once again, sincerest apologies on behalf of Irish Whip Wrestling and the forum should be back up within the next couple of days.

IwW returns to Ashbourne for the first-time since August this Sunday afternoon for a huge show featuring all of your favourite Irish Whip Wrestling stars. Already some huge matches have been lined-up that you'd be a fool to miss!

MANSON STEPS UP TO CHALLENGE VIPER IN HOMETOWN

    IwW International Heavyweight Championship Match

    MAD MAN MANSON

    versus

    VIC VIPER © w/AGENT TIMOTHY

    127726148a3419905174b771091225l.jpg

These two have a long, well-documented history together. But now, for the first-time ever, these two will square off one-on-one with the IwW International Heavyweight Championship on the line.

Mad Man Manson, perhaps the most successful international star in IwW's five-year history, looks to challenge for the IwW Championship for the first time in a one-on-one situation. He, of course, took part in the memorable four-way where Viper took the Championship and was, in fact, pinned by Viper controversially after interference from Agent Timothy. IwW officials have signed Manson up to receive a fair title shot after sources close to 'The Insane One' reported him to be 'fuming' over the outcome of the Gym War contest.

Viper, coincidentally, will make his first public appearance with his newly-won gold in his hometown. Viper lived in Ashbourne for most of his life before moving onto, to quote manager Agent Timothy, "bigger and better things" and becoming IwW International Champion. Viper will no doubt look to stick his success in the face of those who doubted his ability in the past, and according to Agent Timothy in a recent interview appears to be confident about his chances. Says Timothy: "Stocks in Vic Viper are up and in Ashbourne my client will take the next step in cementing his dominance of the Irish wrestling scene by once again defeating the man from the Asylum."

But only one man can walk away the champion. In what, no doubt, will go down as one of the most hard-hitting, vicious brawls in the history of the IwW International Heavyweight Championship, will Manson be able to take the gold that many say he deserves? Or will Viper and Timothy be able to slither away with the belt intact this Sunday?

IwW OFFICIALS ANNOUNCE HUGE ZERO-GRAVITY TRIPLE-THREAT TITLE MATCH

    l_f5f02f1e462bdb8b9c1b8e47fa63b2c9.jpg

    IwW Zero-Gravity Championship Match

    BINGO BALLANCE ©

    versus

    IRISH DRAGON

    versus

    'The Heretic' RED VINNY

    vinny.jpg

It may be only his second title defence, but IwW officials are giving Bingo Ballance no favours (nor would he want any) in his goal to establish himself as the deserved IwW Zero-Gravity Champion.

A huge triple-threat match has been signed featuring two of the most determined competitors in the division today, and controversially Ballance may not have to be pinned to lose the Championship he has worked his entire life for!

The history between 'The Heretic' Red Vinny and both of these men is well known to all loyal Irish Whip Wrestling fans. His legendary rivalry with the Irish Dragon has gone on for over two years and, most recently, they have tore into each other at the previous two Gym Wars leaving many to wonder if the feud is in fact resolved. Dragon was a thorn in the side throughout Vinny's dominance in the early days of the Zero-Gravity division and many have rumoured that it has long since been Vinny's ambition to take the mysterious masked figure out of the competition for a long-time now. He has obviously, to date, been unsuccessful but seems ever-determined.

However Bingo Ballance is, unquestionably, the only man in Irish Whip history who has managed to somehow be more despised by 'The Heretic' than even Dragon. Ballance was, in many people's eyes, the man who took Vinny from his place of dominance in the division and over-shadowed him. In a tense verbal in-ring confrontation at Gym War 18, Vinny accused Ballance of walking around with 'his' championship. Although many would disagree, one would have to admit that Vinny did have a point having never been beaten by Ballance for the belt. Now is Bingo's opportunity to do so.

The odds, however, appear to be stocked against both 'The Heretic' (in that he has deep-seeded hatred with both other competitors) and Ballance (in that he doesn't need to be pinned to lose his belt), which may see the young Irish Dragon as an outside favourite to take the gold. Overlooked by many, and perhaps even his two opponents here, as a non-competitor, Dragon has proved himself as a worthwhile contender on more than one occassion in Irish Whip Wrestling. However while often showing unquestionable talents, he has thus far been met with only a string of big wins and is yet to get a 'career-defining' victory that would fulfill his potential. Could he do so this Sunday?

Can Vinny take the belt he believes to be rightfully his? Will Dragon be able to pull-off a massive upset victory? Or will Ballance somehow remain champion despite the odds firmly stacked against him? Come to Ashbourne this Sunday to find out!

    THE HERETIC'S HOMECOMING VOW

    IwW International Heavyweight Championship Match

    2007_0218Ashbourne0027.jpg

    VIC VIPER © (w/Agent Timothy)

    versus

    'THE HERETIC' RED VINNY

    1396000804_l.jpg

Known to many as one of the top competitors in IwW's Zero-Gravity division, 'The Heretic' Red Vinny comes back to his hometown of Dunshaughlin this Saturday with a mind on becoming the IwW International Heavyweight Champion.

"For two years, I've been one of the leading figures in Irish wrestling period," he explained in an interview with IrishWhipWrestling.com. "And now I've got to walk around and see a person as slimy and slithery as our champion Vic Viper calling himself the IwW International Heavyweight Champion, with his little boyfriend Agent Timothy hanging out of him 24/7.

"Don't get me wrong, Vic Viper is a great wrestler. We've had many wars in the past and he's won just as many as I have. But he is calling himself the best wrestler in Ireland. Who knows? That may be true. But if he wants to have that little rat Timothy in his corner interfering left, right and centre, then those aren't the actions of a man deserving that prestigious championship belt. I think it's about time on of the longest-serving Irish Whip wrestlers shut Timothy's mouth and took Vic's title."

This may be easier said than done, however, as since hooking up with Timothy a few months ago, Viper has proven a man possessed in winning and holding onto the IwW International Championship. Using bricks, briefcases and umbrellas to gain an illegal advantage, Viper has seen off the likes of Kid Kash, Ballymun Bruiser and, most recently, Mad Man Manson in his quest to remain champion. This will no doubt be an uphill battle for Vinny.

To add further fuel to the fire, Agent Timothy had a few choice words for Vinny in a recent IrishWhipWrestling.com interview: "My client knows Red Vinny; he knows what Vinny is going to do even before Vinny knows he's going to do it himself. Vinny may be a great Zero-Gravity competitor and a future Zero-Gravity Champion, but my client has no intentions whatsoever of losing the International Heavyweight Championship."

It will be Zero-Gravity vs. Heavyweight. Hometown hero vs. Possessed champion. 'The Heretic' vs. 'The Snakeman' with Agent Timothy in Vic's corner but the friends and family of Dunshaughlin's Red Vinny in his. Can Vinny take the gold? He certainly believe he can.

"I promise, no wait I guarantee, every single person who has ever been a fan of Irish wrestling that this Sunday I will pin Vic Viper 1-2-3 and shut Agent Timothy's mouth once-and-for-all. This Saturday Vic Viper, you will step into where the Angels and Heretics play, and you will leave without your Championship."

Can 'The Heretic' live up to his word? Find out this Saturday.

SKELLY LOOKS TO REVERSE HISTORY AND TAKE ZERO-GRAVITY TITLE

    zgbelt.jpg

    IwW Zero-Gravity Championship Match

    Ballance.jpg

    BINGO BALLANCE ©

    versus

    BROTHER SKELLY

    Skelly.jpg

Bingo Ballance fulfilled a lifelong dream in January when he became first-ever IwW Zero-Gravity Champion in a historic 12-man tournament.

The head trainer of the IwW Training Gym and known to all in IwW as one of the most passionate and dedicated wrestlers in the history of Irish wrestling, Ballance's victory was not only a victory for each and every fan who appreciated his hard work and dedication, but a victory for every trainee who had stepped through the doors of the Training Gym.

One such trainee, Brother Skelly, challenged Ballance in the first-round of the tournament in an intriguing teacher-vs-student match. Considering that Ballance had taught Skelly everything he knew in wrestling, many expected it to be an easy win for Bingo. However that was not the case as the young Clondalkin-native surprised many and pushed Ballance to the limit in what was perhaps the best first-round match-up.

This Saturday, Skelly has challenged Ballance to a rematch of their fine encounter at IwW Zero-Gravity, but this time hopes to reverse the result and pick up a shock victory.

"Skelly has been training like a madman since Zero-Gravity," one IwW official said. "Even he surprised himself when he pushed Ballance to the limit. I think he firmly believes that he can defeat Ballance and has even been training harder than the champ has himself.

"The whole situation reminds me a lot of Rocky III. With no disrespect to Bingo Ballance, being the champion requires you to do a whole bunch of extra-cirricular activities such as media interviews, photo shoots etc. He was unstoppable at Zero-Gravity as he wanted the championship badly. But Brother Skelly here is sort of a Clubber Lang figure, training harder than Ballance and much hungrier this time around.

"This won't be like their Zero-Gravity match. I firmly believe that Ballance will need to pull out something special to retain his gold against a man as determined at Brother Skelly. Though fans mightn't have seen it, us at Irish Whip Wrestling have been tipping Skelly for great things for some time now. This Saturday, he may just fulfill his potential."

    BRUISER ACCEPTS MYSTERY CHALLENGE

'THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN CAN' BALLYMUN BRUISER

    versus

    MYSTERY OPPONENT

    question20mark.gif

Just this morning, IrishWhipWrestling.com received news that a further match had been signed for this Saturday's Dunshaughlin show.

A person who wishes to remain anonymous at this stage has placed in a formal challenge to none other than the Ballymun Bruiser for Saturday night, and this morning Bruiser confirmed in a brief phone conversation with us that he had accepted.

"Y'know it really wasn't a tough decision. I like to drink. I like to fight. Most of the time, I like to do both at the same time. Usually I'm too locked to know who I'm wrestling anyway. I just go out there, do what I do, boozin' and bruisin', and that's all it takes. Whoever you are, be it that scary, crazy bloke in a straightjacket Manson or even that big orange, yellow and red bloke Hulk Hogan, this Saturday, Bruiser will make you a loser."

IwW officials were keeping their lips sealed about who the challenger was, though they did reveal that it was a "former friend of Bruiser's who had taken exception to his recent change of actions and wished to teach him a lesson".

This is certainly an interesting situation. Find out who wishes to teach Bruiser a lesson and if (s)he can do it this Saturday in Dunshaughlin!

Celtic Pro Wrestling would like to issue the following statement:

“’It is with deep regret that we must inform the public that ‘Dirty’ David Dunn is no longer affiliated with Celtic Pro Wrestling.

Mr. Dunn failed to appear at Celtic Pro 14, last month, without citing just cause, causing grievous disruption to the show and showed a distinct lack of respect for the morals and ethos of Celtic Pro Wrestling.

Therefore, we have no alternative but to relieve Mr. Dunn of his obligations as Tag Team Champion.”

Celtic Pro management have allowed the other half of the tag team champions, Adam Joyce, to choose a replacement.

Adam Joyce has not released any information about his new tag team partner.

“I don’t have to say anything,” said Joyce, “surprise is a very powerful element and right now, the J-Team is packing a truck-load of it”

“On March 11, The J-Team are going to prove why we are carrying gold and Blake Norton is carrying that loser Ciaran Gallagher!”

Speculation is rife as to the status of Ciaran Gallagher. Last month, after he was pinned in a tag team encounter with D4, Gallagher turned in his Emerald Fusion t-shirt and told his tag team partner, The Celtic Tiger Blake Norton, “…go for the titles with someone else. I’m just holding you back.”

LAST STOP FOR IRISH WHIP WRESTLING AHEAD OF SUPERSHOW

Make sure you are in attendance in Thomas Davis GAA Club this Friday evening as IwW rolls into town just two days before the huge IwW SuperShow Sunday event. What thrills, spills and twists will Irish Whip Wrestling's roster have in store for its fans ahead of Sunday's mega-event? Will we see any dramatic title changes? You have to believe that a lot of the roster in some of Sunday's major matches will have bullseyes on their chest ahead of Sunday's show by some not yet booked for matches, how will this simmering tension transpire come Friday night?

NO COUNTOUTS, NO DQS: VIPER versus MANSON

IwW INTERNATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - NO DISQUALIFICATION, NO COUNTOUTS

    VIC VIPER © (w/AGENT TIMOTHY)

    versus

    MAD MAN MANSON

    1372862542_l.jpg

Since winning the IwW International Heavyweight Championship in January, Vic Viper has been masterful in slithering away with his Championship through the most dubious of measures.

Usually with manager Agent Timothy at his side, Viper and Timothy have found ways of conning the referee into defeating whoever the challenger may be in Championship matches.

At last weekend's series of shows, with Agent Timothy away on a business trip signing a huge Championship match to take place at IwW SuperShow Sunday for his client (should he remain champion), Viper was obviously prepared as he took on Mad Man Manson in a non-title match in Rathdowney.

Just as Manson appeared to be gaining momentum, Viper would nail 'The Insane One' blatantly in front of the referee, causing an intentional disqualification and preserving the champion's health and safety for another night.

However, what Viper hadn't counted on was that the non-title victory would give Manson a right to a Championship match the following night in Portarlington.

Viper was apparently "incensed" backstage at the Portarlington event last night, with sources reporting that he was barely off the phone for a minute making a series of endless calls to his Agent searching for a plan in desperation.

The plan they settled on would work to the crowd's chagrin however. Viper would end up getting himself counted out of his title defence, leaving Manson to win the match again, but Viper remained Champion.

IwW officials haven't been so quick to let Viper off the hook though. It had been expected that the Champion would receive a night off this Friday to rest up ahead of Sunday's huge title defence, however after his actions this weekend he has been forced to make a last minute title defence against Manson! Not only that, but this match shall have no disqualification and no count-outs, meaning in order to retain his Championship, Viper must either pin 'The Insane One' or make him submit - something that is a lot easier said than done for the man who went undefeated in IwW for his first two years in the company!

One thing that will stand to his favour though, is the return of Agent Timothy to his corner. Can Tallaght's own Timothy use his scheming mind to prevent Manson yet again from walking away with the gold?

Sources report that Manson is "unconcerned" with the potential interference from the Tallaght-native though. Agent Timothy has been a thorn in the side of 'The Insane One' for a long-time now and Manson is apparently dead set on exacting "brutal and unmerciful revenge" on him sooner rather than later. Friday would appear to be the ideal opportunity to do so.

Can Manson win the gold and take out Timothy in the process this Friday? If this happens, how will this effect the huge title match just signed for Sunday along with Manson's 'Asylum Rules' clash with Steve Corino? Or will Viper be able to yet again slither out with his gold? All answers will be revealed this Friday!

PAST AND PRESENT WWE, TNA, ECW AND ROH STARS ANNOUNCED FOR SUPERSHOW SUNDAY

Two years ago, Irish Whip Wrestling changed the face of Irish wrestling with its majorly successful, IwW SuperShow, held in March 2005 in the SFX Theatre.

This March, IwW looks to invade the Donnycarney Youth Centre with the second SuperShow that is looking to be bigger and better than ever.

In addition to all of your favourite IwW stars, some of the biggest and best talent on the independent scene, including some past and present TNA, ECW and RoH stars! See below for more information.

Last weekend, Irish Whip Wrestling representatives negotiated a huge Championship match for this Sunday's mega-event.

After being in the main event of the inaugural SuperShow two years ago, both 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels and IwW officials felt it appropriate that the former X-Division Champion be given an opportunity to become IwW International Champion since his renowned match with AJ Styles from that original SuperShow considerably helped to make IwW into the internationally-acclaimed promotion it is today.

However it is simply a question of who he will face, i.e. who will be the IwW International Heavyweight Champion by the time this Sunday rolls around: Vic Viper or Mad Man Manson?

The two will square off this Friday night in Thomas Davis GAA Club, Tallaght to determine this fate in a No-Disqualification, No Count-Out bout for the Championship. (For more information on this event, please CLICK HERE)

Should Manson become Champion this Friday, he will defend the belt against Daniels and he will be replaced in his previously scheduled match with Steve Corino by none other than 'The Snakeman' himself in the first-ever VIPER'S PIT MATCH.

But will Daniels be able to emerge victorious? Rumours are circulating the IwW locker room that Daniels is looking to make a long-term impact on the European scene, and what better way to do so than to win one of the most prestigious titles in Europe today? Who will he face and how can he prepare for a match against two potential opponents as diverse as Manson and Viper? And what chances do either of those men stand against a man of Daniels' stature just two short days after their no-doubt brutal encounter in Tallaght?

Be sure to find out all of the answers to these questions first-hand this Sunday!

    ASYLUM RULES/VIPER'S PIT MATCH

    200px-SteveCorino.jpg

    STEVE CORINO

    versus

MAD MAN MANSON OR VIC VIPER

Whoever is not IwW International Heavyweight Champion come Sunday will have an immense task ahead of them as they look set to square-off against former ECW star Steve Corino in what is sure to be a bloody and violent encounter.

Corino approached IwW officials upon being announced for the show and requested that he square off against anyone crazy enough to step into the ring with 'The King of Old School'. Up stepped Mad Man Manson, who had crossed paths briefly with Corino in the UK, and challenged him to an Asylum Rules match.

It is believed that Corino, seeing some of Manson's work in the UK, thought him to be accomplished in the ring but little more than a comedy act. Little did he know about the reputation of Manson in hs home country of Ireland as one of the most hardcore, maniacal and violent wrestlers the country has ever seen. Manson's penchant for tables, chairs and thumbtacks is widely-known around the Emerald Isle and should even an accomplished hardcore wrestler like Corino square-off against Manson, he will no doubt be in for surprise.

However with the controversial situation surrounding the IwW International Heavyweight Championship, should Manson become Champion this Friday in Tallaght he will instead defend the belt against 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels. Should this scenario come to pass, Corino will instead take on Vic Viper in the first-ever Viper's Pit match.

Not a lot is known about a Viper's Pit match, as during negotiations for this match the idea was pitted by his manager Agent Timothy, and not expanded upon. IwW officials have been assured that it is as "sick and twisted" as it sounds, however, and Viper himself is no stranger to hardcore wrestling having partaken in a lot of memorable encounters before in I Quit, Last Man Standing and even Asylum Rules matches using such weapons as bricks, belts and handcuffs to maul his opponents.

Whoever he faces, there is little doubt that Corino will be in for the fight of his life upon his debut in an IwW ring. Whoever may escape with their three count and their lives at the end of this vicious encounter, IwW is confident that the fans will be the ultimate winners this Sunday.

FOUR-WAY DONNYBROOK FOR IwW ZERO-GRAVITY CHAMPIONSHIP

    versus

    1396000804_l.jpg

    'The Heretic' RED VINNY

Longtime Irish Whip Wrestling fans will be familiar with the legendary status of the first-ever Four-Way Donnybrook match which took place at the Inaugural IwW SuperShow two years ago.

It is, for many fans and IwW officials, the match that kickstarted the IwW Zero-Gravity division and for many still remains the greatest match in IwW history.

There, a young Red Vinny emerged the shock winner over such talent as Jonny Storm, M-Dogg 20 and the returning Jody Fleisch. Perhaps most interestingly in hindsight however, is that one Bingo Ballance watched the match carefully from the crowd.

The match itself is said to have inspired Ballance to become a professional wrestler and build on the stellar reputation that the match itself had built for Zero-Gravity wrestling in Ireland. Just a little under two years later, Ballance would become first-ever Zero-Gravity Champion. Two years after he was first inspired to become a wrestler, he partakes in only the second-ever Donnybrook in a battling effort to remain Champion.

The Donnybrook is no average four-way. With the Zero-Gravity up for grabs, it is one fall to a finish meaning that Ballance does not have to be pinned to lose the belt. There are no disqualifications or countouts and the match, though starting ala a four-corner dance with two men in the ring and two men outside to be tagged in and out, is designed for chaos to ensue and a scintillating array of some of the most spectacular Zero-Gravity action to take place.

Two of Ballance's challengers are Bubblegum, another one of the early pioneers of the IwW Zero-Gravity division and one of the most consistently popular British talents in IwW's 5-year history, and El Ligero, the unpredictable Luchador whose match with Red Vinny at Zero-Gravity stole the show for many and who's work remains some of the most critically acclaimed on the European scene.

But perhaps the largest threat to Ballance's title reign comes from 'The Heretic' Red Vinny himself. Vinny was, without question, the first star of the IwW Zero-Gravity division and has made no secret of his disdain for Ballance holding what he believes to be 'his' belt. He is the only man to ever win a Four-Way Donnybrook and looks to maintain this 100% record this Sunday, in doing so taking the Zero-Gravity Championship.

No matter who wins this, it certainly looks fit to match if not better its counterpart and is sure to be a show-stealing affair filled with action, drama and intrigue. Make sure you don't miss it.

    Cabana1.jpg

    COLT CABANA (RoH)

    versus

'The Man with the Golden Can' BALLYMUN BRUISER

    l_659e85f5065a6b88d30ef549dafa5627.jpg

Ballymun Bruiser has, for a long-time, been known to IwW fans as one of the most charismatic, entertaining yet technically skilled and accomplished hands inside an Irish ring.

    Sound familiar?

Many believe Bruiser to be strikingly akin to RoH star Colt Cabana, as both are well-known as much for their wrestling skills as for just going out and having a good time in the ring, usually leaving the fans in hysterics in the process.

So what tricks will either man have up their sleeve this Sunday when they square off in an IwW ring?

Chaos is bound to ensue as perhaps to of the most 'Dennis the Menace'-like characters in wrestling go head-to-head in a match that has all the potential to go down as one of the most outright entertaining in the promotion's history.

But will the crowd's laughter and the three-count go to the man from 'The House of Fun' Ballymun or the Copacabana? Be there Sunday to find out!

    Bam2.jpg

    BAM KATRAZZ

    versus

    British RoH Star, NIGEL McGUINNESS

    200px-NigelMcGuinness.jpg

Two months ago at IwW Zero-Gravity, IwW's own Bam Katrazz put up a valiant fight against former WWE star Kid Kash, coming within inches of pulling off without a shadow of a doubt the biggest win of his career.

This Sunday, he gets a second bite of the cherry as he takes on current RoH British sensation, Nigel McGuinness, in what is no doubt set to be a hard-hitting, spectacular, technical encounter.

McGuinness solidified his reputation as one of the best pure wrestlers in the world today with a lengthy run in RoH as their Pure Champion, being the last man to hold the belt before it was unified with their Heavyweight Championship in a classic encounter with Brian Danielson. He has a sterling reputation with the hardcore RoH following for his technical prowess and his hard-hitting style, with classic matches against the likes of Danielson, Colt Cabana, Samoa Joe and Homicide only accentuating his credentials.

Against him steps Katrazz, who had somewhat of a breakout year in 2006 establishing himself as one of the top singles competitors in Irish Whip Wrestling today. The one thing that has eluded Bam though, has been a major victory against one of the world's best - something he hopes and intends to achieve this Sunday at the expense of McGuinness.

At Zero-Gravity, IwW fans saw Katrazz's extraordinary ability to withstand punishment as he took a hell of a beating from Kash. He walks into this Sunday also in the underdog role with a lot of IwW officials expecting him to take a similar beating. However after requesting this match personally from the powers-that-be in IwW, many believe that Katrazz now has the sufficient motivation and big match experience to pull off an extraordinary upset this Sunday.

But it will not be an easy task as McGuinness has never been known as a man to lie down without a fight. Can Bam somehow get a victory this Sunday? Or if not, will he be able to simply survive?

    mandrake.jpg

    MANDRAKE

    versus

    DARKSIDE (RQW, 1PW, 3CW)

Ever since his debut in IwW last summer, Mandrake has been tipped for big things.

Not just majorly-impressive looking, Mandrake can back up his natural potential with a masterful skill once inside the squared circle and has in his rookie year asserted himself as one of the most dominant players on the IwW scene.

But this Sunday he has an opportunity to send a message out to Europe and the world, in fact, that he is going to be a major player the wrestling business should all keep an eye on.

In his way is Darkside, who can relate a lot to Mandrake as he is one of Britain's best-kept secrets. Though now starting to earn a reputation for himself around the UK, Darkside's obvious talents were often looked over by many until he forced them to stand up and take notice.

He will make his debut in an IwW ring keen to make a lasting impression by making quick work of a potential major player for the future in Mandrake and show the IwW faithful just what he can do inside the ring.

But who will be the man to prove their point on Sunday and send a message to the Ireland and the rest of the wrestling world? Find out in Donnycarney Youth Centre!

He will face Triple S in a non title match. Triple S will then later be eligable to compete in the Rumble match.
