Haven't bought too many watches recently, I picked up the Moto 360 which is a bit annoying with the crappy battery life and I have a Hirsh Robby strap incoming for my Super Avenger, I'll put up some pictures when it arrives.

My Aquatimer has become my daily watch at work, I know it's a more casual watch but I think it looks good with a shirt.

That looks great Mr S. I'm a big fan of the aquatimer.

Thanks Mitch. I'm glad I managed to pick up this older design right when they were retiring it as I'm still not a huge fan of the new design even after trying them on a few times.

Same here, I prefer the older style too. The lume on these is great also, particularly the bezel lume. It looks class !

Lovely, that looks so much nicer than the newer model.

I bought a joblot of 5 seiko 5's and a citizen as spares / repairs for £35 on ebay to 'practise' on earlier this year. This is the third one of the bunch that I've managed to resuscitate. Serial number starts with 7D so I think it dates from Dec '97, and it has a 7s26 21 jewel movement.

Thanks Wibbs, if it's not too much trouble can you photoshop the date to the eighth as well;) It needs a bit more fettling to get the quick set date to work.

First formal outing for my recent acquisition, had my shirt sleeve riding half way up my arm trying to show it off but no one noticed it :)

    Gorgeous! Really lovely.

IME Tag's get noticed, and very little else. I've seen people drool over a €1k Tag, and were completely unmoved by a Rolex (neither was mine).

The Rolex owner and I had a quiet, and, admittedly slightly superior, smirk and a chat later on. (I Know, I shouldn't have....:-(

I've also seen the 'fashion stuff' get noticed. Wimmins love Michael Kors, and I've seen people openly admire a Daniel Wellington watch.

    Each to their own....

That awkward moment when you realise you've inadvertently colour coordinated your watch and jumper!

I was in an exec-level workshop during the week and I spotted at least 3 IWC, of which two were Portuguese and the third was a pilot's watch. I had serious watch envy looking at that last watch.

IWC seem to be well enough known alright D. I reckon I've seen more IWC's than Rolexes in the wild over the last ten years.

Thanks for the offer, I'm a big fan of the Speedy Moon.
Sorry I'm an awful hoarder, I am still even hanging onto my first few Fossil watches that I picked up about 10 years ago even though I haven't worn them in years. Just like hanging onto all the watches I've bought.

Meet your twin Mr S. I'm not even sure how many watches I have at this stage. :s

    Well obviously it's my Speedy.

I feel a bit cheated in this cold weather. It's hidden behind jackets, coats and big jumpers the past few weeks.

I was tempted to go around the house and work and take all the clock batteries out just so someone would ask me the time...

Today, I've my faithful 1981 16800 Submariner. I've it on a watchbandits perlon strap which matches the indices nicely.

got a brown NATO from ebay in the post today for the Steinhart

just mixing it up a little from the grey leather NATO and want something for the suit with brown shoes

its great the way a strap for €20 can make you feel like you got a new watch. I'm liking these NATO straps more and more...I can go away for a few days work and bring one watch and different straps to change out in 1 min depending on what you wear

I'm planning to wear this more often, living in the box too much.
