Put it on a brown Hirsch strap, liking the change from bracelet so far

Just dealing with the Swiss national football team, delegates and press flight in work.

It was like being at baselworld the watches on wrists as they passed me. Needless to say I'm off to the office for some "quiet time" now.

With the same strap as the Stowa I posted a couple of days ago, here's my PO; I love the versatility and comfort of these straps.

Yeah, it's the XL. It's a beaut. I haven't worn it on the bracelet in yonks; these perlon straps and the isofranes are the business.

That's pretty subjective. You can see the 45.5mm PO on my wrist and the 40mm Sub I posted previously, too, if you want to gauge size.

It's very comfortable and my slim-wristed missus likes to wear it, too. :)

Today is a Speedy day on a nice new black leather Hirsch strap with red stitching. Really like this combination for the watch

That crystal has seen better days !

That crystal has seen better days !

Yup! The previous owner had a very good night out one night :)

I'm going to sort it out, but haven't had a chance. It doesn't bother me much to be honest, I like the fact that the watch has been worn

Is it a Hesalite crystal ? If so a bit of pollywatch will sort it right out !

    I like. A lot!

GSOTM is a beauty and I had both in my hands in the shop. I very nearly pulled the trigger on it, but in the end the DSOTM was a more unique fit into my collection.

    Well wear!

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,945 ✭✭✭✭Cyrus

i was the same hard to decide between the two, but given that i had previously owned an IWC top gun in black ceramic the GSOTM was more of a change

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,410 ✭✭✭Deep Thought

both stunning..but looking more at them the GSOTM is defo for me

I was forward and back thinking of the old GMT Pepsi (always wanted one sice I was a kid) and the new DJII. The old GMT was a bit sporty for work, the DJII too blingy for shorts and tee and don't like the shinny centre link. So I bought thsi two weeks ago when I was back in Ireland.

Apart from Swatches and G-shocks, its my first grown up watch.

Really love the bezel, much less fussy than the fluted ones IMO
