    If Liverpool do what I think they will do team selection wise for Sunday sakho and Moreno will become great value. Wouldn't be risking it this week though.

    I'd like to see 3-4-2-1 with Sakho, Skrtel, Gomez CBs both for my Gomez and Tekkers ownership

    BR tends to keep faith with his favourites.
    Would not surprise me to see him play with 3CBs Lucas and Joe Allen at home to Norwich.

    Gone with Diouf out -> Wilson in.

    I'm far from a Wilson fan, but Diouf has a problematic hamstring and the very real possibility of being played out wide. It's a shame as Stoke have some great fixtures in the next 6, but how many of those Diouf will play and be a striker in is too much guesswork.

    I'll go with Wilson who has SUN, sto, WAT in his next 3 and then re-assess.

    Guess I'd go Payet on form and the fact that Kompany is out.
    Tough one though. Could you consider a 4th defender?

    begovic
    kolorov darmian francis (nyom targett)
    mahrez Sanchez mata ayew yaya
    aguero (c) Wilson (sahko )

    1 plan was sahko to diouf as they have 2 home games. won't bother now as he may not start and i dont know who to drop !
    2 Darmian to clyne skertl or sahko also under consideration but their fixtures are poor after the next 2
    3 Bank which would give me options on upgrading sahko next week or week after as I'll probably be getting rid of mata at that point too ?

    vote :D

    Thinking of doing Ward to Francis with my FT and playing 4 at the back.

    Begovic
    Kolarov, Darmian, Gomez, Francis
    Silva, Pedro, Mahrez
    Aguero, Benteke, Gomis

    Subs: McCarthy, Payet, Westwood, Martin

    All views welcome!!

    I have to look at this in more detail later, but here is my team, and I've 2 FT, with 1.8 ITB).

    Guzan (Gomes)

    Kolarov Gomez Muniesa (Martin) (Ward)

    Sanchez Silva Mahrez Ayew (Westwood)

    Aguero Benteke Wilson

    My initial thought is just use the one transfer this GW, on something like Cawson for Martin.

    For people looking to bring in a Watford defender, someone on FFS compiled this:
    Nyom:

    - 38 appearances last season
    - 1 goal
    - 1 assist
    - 11 yellow cards (0 red)

    Prödl:

    - 24 appearances last season
    - 3 goals
    - 1 assist
    - 5 yellow cards (0 red)

    Cathcart:

    - 30 appearances last season
    - 3 goals
    - 1 assist
    - 6 yellow cards (0 red)

    Factor in leagues, La Liga for Nyom, Bundeliga for Prödl and Championship for Cathcart.

    I've a similar defence and I'm holding tough with Ward and looking at moving Martin out first. I also have Gomez so I see your logic in taking Ward out, giving some security in case Gomez gets dropped.

    Shaw - nyom for a -4. Didn't want to chance losing the .1

    Bank. I'd play Nyom over Darmian

    interesting ......forgot about Newcastle's appalling goal scoring record so far
    must change at some point though......

    Bookies favour ManU cleanie, I just feel it will take time for Rojo to acclimate and not many teams get a cleanie out of St. Mary's

    I went with Watford GK, but would choose Nyom due to his baseline BPS scores. Defender goals from corners are always unpredictable

    Wildcard played. Now hopefully a decent week

    I went with Pedro and Huth out Gomez and Yaya in this week (-4)

    Pedro and Kompany injured.
    Who's to get rid of?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,553 ✭✭✭✭Copper_pipe

    Any obvious changes I should consider making here?

    Have 2 FT and 0.2m in the bank..

    The uncertainty over Pedro is annoying.
    Which 2 do ye think I should start from Pedro, Ighalo and Darmian? (assuming we get no more info on whether or not Pedro starts)

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

    Cech, Boruc

    Francis, Huth, Baker, O'Shea, S. Taylor

    Mahrez, Wanyama, Toure, Hazard, Mane

    Aguero, Ighalo, Wilson

    6.3m in the bank

    Wildcard is an option

    Thinking:
    S. Taylor -> Kolarov
    Huth -> Targett
    Baker -> Gomez
    O'Shea -> Cathcart
    Mane -> Sanchez
    Wanyama -> Hoolahan

    Or Just
    S. Taylor -> Kolarov
    Mane -> Sanchez

    -4 Points

    Opinions are appreciated

    Taylor to Kolarov is a sound move. I'd stay away from Targett and Gomez as both are possibilities to be dropped soon. Maybe Baker to Evans or Dawson of West Brom.

    While looking up Baker's price I noticed that he was not in the Villa squad on the FPL player list. Turns out he's been loaned to Bristol City. I then looked up Adebayor and he is no longer listed on the Spurs list either - both players have a "U" under a status tab on fpl statistics. I think this is something new this year, if IIRC correctly in previous years players sold abroad after the game started would remain selectable?

    Baker is there from before the start of the season. He was loaned on deadline day.

    I'll hold onto O'Shea if I'm not playing the WC as Taylor is injured. Wanyama is my only available outfield sub at the minute.

    if he's 50/50 to play tomorrow, chances are he would be ok for next week, not much point taking out if going to put back in?

    Truth is with Mourinho though is that the chap could be completely crocked and we mightn't even know it.
