With Chelsea imploding, Azpilicueta has to go this week, not sure who to get, already have Kolarov.

Surprised it took so long for someone to fire this up. Azpi does look ripe for the chop.

    :p

Sakho to Benteke is a consideration, but 9 Premier League matches for me to assess, plus European games to come so alot can change.

Pedro back out, Barkley back in.

Pedro is on 13, 7, 2 in a misfiring Chelsea team. It's not that bad...

Yeah but which supposed "big gun" is doing better? Yaya & Silva but I presume you already have one of them.
His team mates are crap FPL-wise. United, Arsenal mids are doing poorer so far (Sanchez may very well explode today). 'Pool & Spurs have mid priced mids who aren't exactly firing on all cylinders too.

I don't really see a stand-out replacement, though, again, Sanchez could become it in about 2 hours time :p...

    Costa out!

Really it all depends on the severity of Aguero's injury for me. If he's out for a while I'll likely go Aguero -> Benteke ahead of Liverpool's two home games against Norwich and Villa.

This looks like more of a possibility now :(

If Aguero is injured for a while I will have no idea what to do with my team. None of the expensive forwards are performing now.

What did aguero go off with it ?

    Aguero --> someone (probably benteke)
There are no strikers who I want in my team!!

    Ugh...

    I have:

    Lambert
    Azpi
    Sterling
    Turner

All of whom could drop this week...

Might keep Sterling as City have a home game next week and it's supposedly just a knock.
Turner has already dropped to 3.9, can't imagine he will drop again.

So may take the -4 and ship out Azpi and Lambert.... but who to? 5.8m in the bank....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,730 ✭✭✭✭entropi

Got rid of Azpi last week, worked out well with taking Cédric off the bench for that. Just a cheap keeper to replace Romero (as I've McCarthy in there now) and I'm done. However, if Aguero is out for a bit, may need to replace him instead.

    Might be wildcard time.

Depends on Aguero really, have 2 ft but will have to be careful what moves i make.

Like others my team is in an awful mess.

What did Augero go off with today..?

Plan for GW6 is Courtios to Hart/Cech
Azpil out for City defence cover

Ruddy has to go. I wish Lindegaard had started though, I don't feel comfortable bringing in Myhill who might be dropped on one bad performance. Maybe I'll go for Gomes, Watford look good and he is in the baps

2 FTs and Depay has to go this week (I gave him a stay of grace after Silva got injured) and Aguero might too depending on the injury news.
Looks like I'll end up having loads in the bank.....

He tweeted it was just a hard knock and he should be alright. He walked out of Selhurst with a limp

    That's good to know.
Ideally I would like to keep him and get Silva back in for Depay, but will probably have to wait until after the CL games, by which time Depay's price might have plummetted...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,009 ✭✭✭kronsington

Depay has been a disaster. Has to go before another drop. I have 1.7 in the bank. I'm .1 off getting Barkley and Sanchez for Depay and payet 😡

Scott Dann basically kicked a lump out of him and landed hard. Doubt he'll miss any games.

Lads on PL Live on Today FM thought him being pulled off was a precaution ahead of European game.

They said he hadn't even ice on his leg sitting on the bench.

Very different to when he was crying coming off against Everton last year.

Ruddy to Gomes done. Still clinging onto the wildcard until I watch Sakho and Kane play

Romero to either Gomes or Myhill.

Consider a -4 for someone else pending price changes

Came down to those two for me. If I knew Myhill would definitely start I would have gone for him. I might end up doing a -4 for Evans or Cawson later

Got to get a WB defender soon as well.

Sums it up for about 40% of us players.
Nice to have the 2 FTs:

Ruddy to Gomes done. Was a complete waste of space. Have ward, aguero and sterling. And I think Gomez may be dropped after today. If Kane doesn't do anything tomorrow he's out. Kane, mahrez, Morgan and payet left to go. If they don't give me decent returns, I'm wildcarding. If agueros injury is serious, I'm wildcarding. And I may wildcard anyway.

Agüero is going to be a pain i feel for the next while, some folk saying he was taking of for protection for the CL game, well what does that mean for the other CL games - is he going to be taking off if city are winning 2-0 with 20 mins to go every sat before CL game.

I know he was "injured" when he came off btw.

He was taken off due to hard tackle from Dann, can't expect him to play in fairness when he's limping! Even 60 mins from him would suffice if he's on form before a CL game.

Getting very tempted to wildcard to this now. 1.7m OR and and a bit of an injury crisis. A lot depends on how Kane, Mahrez, Morgan and payet play. If they blank, I'm pulling the trigger. I need to wait for aguero news before all else

With the amount of players due to rise tonight, you probably need to make a call on whether or not to do it tonight.

Ah jaysus that makes everything much harder. Tough call but I may pull the trigger. Even if aguero is ruled out for a while I'll know by the next deadline and will adjust. Thanks for the heads up

I need to get Hazard out, who do you guys recommend I get in? Already have Silva, Barkley, Sinclair and Anya which on paper isn't a great midfield but no high price midfielders are performing. I was thinking Mata and using the extra cash to upgrade Anya or Sinclair.

Not necessarily. No way Sanchez double rises after three blanks in a row and Chelsea next (even though that might actually be a good fixture now). Gomis and/or Ayew could double rise, one should be in team anyway. Mahrez should already be in team. Hart, Shaw, and Sako all very doubtful to double rise. At least that's my justification for waiting until at least tomorrow

Ignoring double rises, there are a lot of players in there who you'd want to have so better to get them .1 cheaper. Guessing a team full of those players already is less likely to wildcard but obviously I haven't seen his team to say for sure.

Yeah, I was talking mostly about mine. I'm not interested in Sanchez, but Kane blank could force my hand. I'm very nervous about not owning either Benteke or Wilson next GW and my defence could use an upgrade. Then there's Silva and Aguero who are doubts

    Shaqiri/Benteke, Silva/Diouf

Immediate fixtures considered, plus fitness permitting, which is more appealing?

Shaqiri is a good player, but there is no value at 7m in a stoke side imo
Bentekke scored today - bit of a worldie, but didn't do much else in the whole game,

Everything has been going through Silva this season, missing today and they needed a last minute goal to win, Didn't see much of Diouf today as Arsenal were all over them, but for Silva alone, i'd prefer the second option.

Just had a proper look at the likely risers. I have mahrez and ayew atm, and I don't want to double up on Swansea attack so I'm not too bothered about Gomis.

Already transferred out ruddy to avoid a drop, Morgan and fletcher are the other two worries to drop. Out of the likely risers, Sanchez is the only one I really want, but I feel that I can wait. Injuries, however, are my main issue. I have ward, aguero and sterling. I also have Kane who probably needs to go soon.

So the question is, Do I move now to to save maybe 0.2m, or do I wait for more news on my injuries and for performances in the games tomorrow and Monday ?

Yeah, I kind of want to get some Stoke involvement in there as they have a very favourable run to come.

Definitely silva and diouf imo. Liverpool don't look like scoring, even if they have Norwich this week. I think diouf is probably better Stoke coverage than Shaqiri with their grey upcoming fixtures. Silva injury obviously a worry but I think he'll be fine. Kdb looked sharp today if silva isn't fit, but I think he will be
