That last one has been quoted a number of times so I see no point in deleting it now, but please no more, thanks.

Can't say I was too interested in the new Mad Max film... but I just found out that Eve Ensler was a consultant on it. I'm totally on board with it now.

I got one of the Bandridge ones, Steve recommended them before, great picture with full auto switching. I got new cables from Retro Consoles Accessories as the ones that I got from Console Goods were pretty crap quality and blew the sh1t out of my xrgb cable.

yeah, the Bandridge one is great, unfortunately they don't seem to make them any more.

The Bandridge one would be ideal but I can't seem to find them online, I wouldn't mind picking two up if I could find them.

Not quite retro, more retro inspired, but 90's Arcade Racer is looking pretty good! Should appeal to any Rrrrrrrridge Rrrrrrrracer fans I'd imagine!

Just backed it. I really like the style of it, but hope he decides to do a physical release and not just digital.

Speccy book up on Kickstarter. I've got his C64 and Amiga books and really recommend them and this new book is going to be great as well I'm sure.

So much kickstarter stuff these days, I wonder if there's merit in a dedicated kickstarter thread?

Be no harm, fair bit of retro related bits up on it.

    Edit:

If we are going to do a Kickstarter thread, it would be nice to have the first post updated with all the campaigns and which ones are funded/failed etc. And if people want to reply the could say if they backed it, received the item, had issues and that sort of thing.
It would be handy to see a clear list of decent retro kickstarters as I have missed some nice ones in the past as I just hadn’t heard about them, or just plain forgot.

    Just started the Kickstarter thread.
I'm at work and on my phone so I can't move existing posts over.
If someone want to throw a few links in with some details about the ones they like or have funded or they reckon others might like, fire away. I'll have a look at it tomorrow and remove any mention of Streets of Rage or Goldenaxe remakes/reboots or tributes

Have both the Amiga and C64 ones... He really knocked it out of the park with the Amiga book, so much content.

Will be backing the Spectrum one as well despite never having had a Spectrum as a kid.

He's redoing the C64 book to be more like the Amiga one. More content and slightly different format(hardback as well I hope). It'll come with a case of some sorts to hold both the Amiga and C64 books, which is nice :0)

I just throw my money at this guy, he does good stuff, great communication and delivers pretty much on time, so there is a level of trust there. Unlike that muppet who did the arcade artwork book nobody has got almost 2 years later

Yeah. Have to say it's one of the smoothest kickstarters I've ever taken part in.

Not sure about that polystyrene stretch goal though... seems a bit convoluted.

Yeah, not sure on that one myself. It's kind of cool, in a collector sort of way. But I like my books on a shelf and easy to pickup and browse. If the book came in that I'd have to keep it in it, which would look crap on my shelf.

At the moment I've gone for the hardback book and Metal Man game option.
