I changed over from a iPhone 4 to this and the size difference is taking me a long time to get used to. The change in OS is grand but it is a big big phone. In saying that it is without doubt the best phone I have ever had (after two days with it). It can be used with one hand although reaching the top part of the phone is a stretch and I'm still nervous I will drop it. Once you really get used to using it the size is less of an issue. The battery is ridiculously good in it too.

Made the exact same change from iPhone4 and the size is taking some getting used to ... I got a TPU gel case and Ozrly tempered glass screen protector for mine ...both doing the job good so far .... but i'm not sure if i'll keep the phone ..just too big for my liking. I cycle a fair bit and usually put my phone in my saddle bag ..but this just doesn't fit at all ... will look for a bigger bag and see how it goes .. hopefully will get used to the size over time

Sorted it. It was a driver issue.
What drivers did you use in the end ? and on what Operating system you had ?

I do a bit of cycling also (off the road with a knackered knee at the moment :( ) and I purchased this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JMKSMT0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which the phone easily fits into even with a bumper case on it. You can use the phone for Strava etc. and with the one touch Strava record icon you simply touch the icon and you're off, see https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onetapstrava

    Hi all,

I can connect my OPO to my Win 8 laptop and it immediately appears as a connected HDD. I can open the various folders on the drive and so on but when I go to create a new folder I can insert the name but everything immediately hangs and I get a "not responding" error message which stays running for a good few minutes before the folder is eventually created. Anyone experience this? It's odd and I don't have a similar issue when I plug in other USB drives. It only occurs with the OPO.

Also, does anyone know what folder APK's and Data files are kept in on the OPO drive? I went to transfer some eBooks files to the Amazon Kindle folder this morning but for the life of me I can't find it. I have "hidden folders" turned on to show etc.

I know I must be doing something stupid.

I'm liking the new update. The pinch to zoom issue has been resolved. Also the phantom click where it went to a page when you didn't want it to. Scrolling seems a bit smoother too. All touchscreen issues I guess. Always heard a bit of static when hanging up on a call. That's gone too. Were getting there.

Hope you recover soon ... know the feeling ...
I already have a garmin for my bike, so the phone is there if i need to make an emergency call (knocked off bike, fallen of bike etc etc) that type of thing ... so its more a case of either sticking it in my jacket pocket or in the saddle bag

I think you didn't let the drivers fully install on first connection. Maybe that's the problem. Have heard that mentioned before regarding your issue Ben.

I have to say Oneplus's support is absolutely useless. I dropped and cracked my screen at the All Ireland on sept 21st and emailed support the next day to get it replaced and straight away I was quoted at 107 GBP. An RMA was set up and even though I requested a English delivery they sent me an American one, where I couldn't change the State/Country of my address. I requested this change on the 24th and they finally got back to me on the 29th asking for my UK address. I gave them the parcel motel address and told them can I post the phone to their UK site as I know they use a pick up service in the UK to transport it to their place in the UK and then send it off to China for repairs. Again they sent me their US address to post the phone to :( I have to get back to them again to ask for their UK address to post my phone to. While I was waiting I start to fill out the RMA documents and I notice they have put my UK address down as:
    Sean Dowling
PM********, Parcel Motel, 1A McKinney Road
    Newtownabbey, Antrim, New York , BT36 4PE
    United States
    +353(86)********

They finally get everything sorted and I use parcel motel to post the phone to their UK address on the 30th. I then send the tracking info to Oneplus and start waiting. The tracking info said the phone was exported on the 2nd but I wait till Monday to ask for an update. I still haven't got a reply from them and its really pissing me off.

I find the £1 armbands for the Samsung Notes that are all over Ebay preferable to mounting it on a bike, the phone can still take serious knocks even in a good case transmitted through the frame and it would be annoying me on descents etc watching the phone on its mount more than the road.

You could always buy a mini GSM phine like this http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-2014-New-Hot-AIEK-M5-Card-Mobile-Phone-AEKU-M5-Card-phone-Dual-Band-4/2050938758.html and stick a PAYG sim in it. It is tiny and will fit in your saddle bag no problem. That way you can leave your expensive OPO at home all together.

Thanks EMO72. I thought I had allowed the drivers to install correctly. Is there a way to remove and re-install them?

Like a glove, no hope of it falling out jogging or cycling but still just enough slack that you can slip it out if someone rings, for this one anyway even though its designed for a 6.3" Samsung Note:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gym-Running-Sports-Workout-Armband-Case-Cover-For-Samsung-Galaxy-Mega-6-3-i9200-/380984270666?pt=UK_Armbands&pb=14&maxbid=5.50&bolp=1&nma=true&si=3lfpv1yEFxzF%252Fjsu1ZC6QJV0d9o%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

That used to be a BuyitNow auction not a bid but there are 100's of them on ebay, that one is great though, nice soft material and the clear plastic is capacitive so you can still operate the phone in the sleeve.

Reboot the pc, plug the phone in again and let it finish this time, give it as long as it needs mine took a full episode of Coronation Street iirc :D

If that doesnt work reboot the pc again and try it in a different USB port, rebooting is the key to not messing up driver installs. My OPO was kind of temperamental on my home and work pc in the way you describe for the first few days aswell though right down to hating creating new folders but its perfect now.

About creating a folder on PC and stalling that happens me as well. Quicker to just create the folder on phone. About accessing root files and folders. Just transfer files to download folder or else where and then manually transfering them to desired location using one of the file manager apps. Your phone will have to be rooted to access root locations in file manger.

That is a stock 38R and rooted. Do you have a custom recovery? If so just flash it and you should be good top go.

    Yes.
This is another way to have it as well. I should try it with a password to see if there is any difference.
