12/1 on Lewis is very tempting.

How about 15/2 to get knocked out in the first round :)

My post#17 in the thread has the draw structured in this way.

Paddy Power offering odds of 4/1 on a dutch winner, going to throw another few yoyo's at that.

Better off backing MVG at 9/2 and Barney at 18 separate.

Is there anywhere that pays 4 places for e/w?

Most places do betting to win their 1/4 of the draw which amounts to the same really

That wasn't clear from your post, but thanks anyway

Just watching the 2011 review on Sky, forgot just how many great matches there were, even in round 1, Anderson so lucky to scrap through when Artut bottled it, Alcinas so close to beating the Hammer, then of course the epic semi finals night.

Really whets the appetite. Bring it on

The lewis semi last year was a cracking game

Looking forward to the start of proceedings tomorrow night. I expect Thornton,Lewis and Painter to win their games. Nicholson v Stompe is a game that could go the distance. Stompe has had a terrible year but Nicholson hasn't had much better. While the bookies fancy Nicholson I reckon Stompe could sneak this one.

No doubt there will be a few shocks as ever

Only one day to go. Nothing better than watching the darts with a cuppa tea on a cold winters night.:D

Hope Taylor shows his great form. His comeback against Hamilton was class

Money placed, Anderson and Thornton e/w, and for a few euros Painter and Wright e/w, big odds on the latter two, would be a shock if either make any inroads though.

    Thornton shold throw well.

If you get a decent price on Darryl Gurney on any of his individual matches, bet him, if he wins his prelim he'll play andy smith in the first round and can beat him too.

Someone was tipping him at 12/1 to get the most amount of 180's on Sat afternoon as the prelim games are included in the calculation and he'll likely have 2 games that day

Had a 250 euro free bet on Paddy Power and put it on Taylor at 3/1 should be given a good run at least.
Also what has happened to Alan Tabern used be good enough player can't see him in the draw has he slipped down the world rankings that much.

Nicholson playing well. The constant booing is getting boring though, wish they'd shut up.

I wouldn't be big fan of him but the booing he gets is completely out of order. He's playing well tonight in fairness.

Stompe hasn't done himself any favours at all here. Basically gave up after the first set.

  • Registered Users Posts: 482 ✭✭Treble20

Good win for Nicholson but Stompe looks like a player who's heart isn't in the game at the moment. 2 whitewashes so far tonight, next game has the makings of another one IMO.

Jesus, Vos is playing well. Lewis would want to wake up fairly quick.
