Does anyone have any suggestions for good interesting healthy food I can eat? My diet is generally very good, salads and all that good stuff but it's kind of boring. Anyone have any suggestions or even decent food websites?

What sort of food do you like?

I'm allergic to eggs, red meat, wine and some dairy but other than that I eat anything. I'd be very adventurous with my food when I eat out but I never seem to be able to recreate any of that myself.

I'm saved! I just looked through The Cooking Club and got a whole load of recipes, yipee :D

Loads of stuff there, and they are a really helpful bunch too :)

If you like chinese there is a chinese rcipes thread in the cooking and recipes forum, I learned to cook our favourite chinese food from there, and it tastes just like it does from the chinese, but is probably healthier :)

Also start with things you like, and try to learn how to cook them.

A really good book to learn the basics is delia's how to cook, I got it as an xmas present from the OH a few years ago and still use it time and time again :)

Have my first party of the season tomorrow. Haven't a focking clue what to wear. I'm bringing the cute Yank from the office that I've been having a bit of a fling with and I'm drawing a complete blank on an outfit that won't:

    a) be too dressy or too casual
    b) make me look like his mother (he's only 25)
    c) look like I just came in my work clothes

    I'm so crap at clothes.

You'd swear you were ancient. That age difference is reversed with ease all the time. Just go looking hot. Wear a nice dress and some low heels.

You won't have much trouble looking like a hotty anyway.

I know I've already mentioned it and all I do on here is moan but me feckin back hurts like a bugger. :(

That's pretty much exactly what I wore the last time I was out with him, unfortunately. I have it narrowed down to:

    - purple palazzo pants & a gold silk blouse
    - very dark, very expensive jeans & a purple and gold Grecian-style top
    - black sequined leggings, black killer court shoes and a tuxedo shirt

I don't do dresses or low heels!

Moan about your back all you like. There's nothing quite like chronic back pain to drag your whole life down.

Option three sounds great, especially for a Christmas party

    You? Fail my module?

    Why that is impossible!

You will require a disguise for the presentation component, though.

I recommend a beret. I am rather sophisticated.

No you'll look like a knob.

From tomorrow umbrella hats will be all the fashion. Get on board.

The day after I handed up my masters thesis, and got to delete SPSS from my hard drive was one of the happiest of my life so far. You have my deepest sympathies.

I could be wrong but are the Well Woman clinics a bit cheaper than a regular GP?
