Avocado and a poached egg on toast. Iced coffee in hand, this day has started well.

I've been up all night. I haven't seen any friends since last wednesday. I want to do something but I'm broke and will need all my money for the dinner party. I'd love to go to a zoo or something: walk around, take pictures of the giraffes.

Is there an end to feeling tired and stressed? I need the end soon!

James threw the mother of all tantrums last night. He was almost sick from crying and screaming. All I could do was leave him on his own to calm down. I've never seen him like that before. Hope it's not the start of a trend as I found it pretty upsetting.

My friend's Dad is very sick in hospital this morning. If anyone has a thought/prayer/positive vibe to spare send it in their direction.

I'm full of irrational rage today. Angry about the rain, angry about college, angry about French, angry about the guy playing the accordion in my ear on the metro at 7am...

I really would love to just tune out for a few weeks, I'm utterly burned out but these are the most important weeks of college workwise. Nrgggh.

Dear God, it's only Wednesday?! Aargh, this week is draaaagging. :(
On the plus side, I'm meeting a couple of friends after work this evening for food and general merriment so I hope today doesn't go as slowly as Monday and Tuesday did!

My thoughts are with your friend's dad, DK. xx

This comment really jumped out at me. Why is it assumed that slim people find it effortless to be so and have never had any experience of food issues?

Gah I have so much to do and I don't know where to start. Every time I take one thing off my to-do list, another thing adds on.

Also, the baby has been sleeping all night for the last month, but I wake up EVERY NIGHT at 4am and just cannot go back to sleep!

Hook the caffeine to my veins!

    /end of whining/

I've given up and accepted that the only way I can do college work is under pressure. So I'm forgetting about my assignment until next weekend.

I also lost the referencing argument with my tutor, quelle surprise.

    I'm so sleepy *yawn*

Debating getting a coffee....I hate spending money on things like this in college as it really adds up but I feel like a zombie :/
I've friends who get coffee and lunch in here daily and it adds up at like 7e. That's like 35e a week just on lunch (wouldn't mind but most of the time its just a sandwich. O.o)

    ^^
(All of the above has just been me justifying to myself that I deserve this coffee.....)

    Hope everything's going well :)
I'm struggling to get proper study done these days. At least I'm on top of the assignments :)

But has she at least clarified the system she wants you to use?

Yes, and it's not the one I used last year. Her response was more or less "Well you should have been using it last year too." When I pointed out that last year's tutor never once mentioned that, and that he scored me in the 70 - 100% range for referencing in all my assignments, she pretty much said "That's not my problem. I'm telling you to use this system this year and I suggest you take heed."

Jeez WS, that's some roller coaster you're on. One minute you're having the best time, next you're in the dumps. Hang on tight, there's probably more climbs and drops to come but you'll get off at the end of the year and think: "That was the best thing ever"...

It's the unrelenting nature of the work that's killing me! Just when I think I have it all under control something else gets thrown in the mix and I've to start all over again...bah. Ah I'll be grand, I just need to get through the next seventeen days and then I'm free for a month to do as I please. Next semester hopefully won't be as bad either because I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing :)

Pressure really works for me as well.

I just did something I had been trying to do all day yesterday in about 5mins.

    Job done.

Morning all. Didn't sleep well at all last night. Woke up about 5 or 6 times, I think it was because of the wind and rain.

Bf is coming down this evening and we're gonna talk about things, see what's wrong.. Hopefully we'll be okay. Last time things got a bit rough talking was all that was needed to make things better so I'm hoping it's the same this time.

Going to make myself some breakfast and go have a shower soon.

DK - thinking about your friend's dad, hope he'll be alright.

The gerbils are wrecking my room. There just seems to be sand and bedding all over the floor and the minute I sweep it up it'll be back to square one.. Grrr, the little feckers.

I love that film, when the cops show up and arrest everyone because the budget ran out for the film and they didnt have an ending lol

Yeah.. Maybe it's what we need. We don't live together, we're sort of long distance. We'll talk and see.

Hope it works out for you Hun! Don't be afraid to get what you need, sometimes relationships can be all consuming and we forget there's two individuals with two separate sets of needs! Take care of yourself!

Amazingly I woke up with huge sense of relief....sister and friends are coming over tonight with yummy nom noms....can't wait!!

Thank you. :) Hopefully when we talk later we'll both feel better. I hope you feel better soon too. :)

Brilliant, have a laugh tonight (and don't be afraid to have a cry if you need it) and enjoy yourself x

Got up at 8 and went out for an epic walk with the woofs. Came back and wrote 800 words of my 1000 word assignment due in 2 weeks.
    I. am. awesome.
