Similar thing happened to anyone who left me a voice message for a time, because I did the ol' "pretend you've answered the phone and the line's breaking up" trick with my answering machine.

Got a lot of "Hello? Hello? Can you eh.....can you hear me?"

Someone caught me with this for several months before I realised their voicemail did it - for ages I assumed there was something wrong with their speaker or something.

Great. One of the modules I needed to repeat has been discontinued, AND I just got a lovely email from my Student Adviser (who's rumoured be a scary motherf*cker) calling me in for an "INFORMAL and FRIENDLY chat" next week about why I'm such a complete and utter f*cking failure.

Turns out it's still there, just moved to the second semester.

Totally confused now, because there's a module that's been moved to the 1st semester of 2nd year in my course, which was in 3rd year. So it looks as if I'll have to link that in this year. Same thing in second semester.

So instead of two modules this year, it looks probable I'll be doing four, which'll cost 1000e more than I'd budgeted.

And in fact, now that I think of it, you're only allowed to link in 2 modules per semester before they make you repeat the full year, but I need to link in 3 in the second semester because of the change.

I can't afford to pay for a full year's fees without the grant.

One word. F*ck.

Had a woman talk down to me and give out to me like I was a thicko earlier in work because something she was looking at was labelled wrong, and was actually more expensive (by E6) than she (and I!) had initially thought. I hate when people get all condescending with the little shop girl.:rolleyes: It doesn't help that I'm too much of a softie...put up a serious battle with the tears and couldn't stop trembling for ages after she'd left.:(:(

Packing is destroying my soul... I can't wait until about 6pm tonight when I'll have everything dumped in the middle of the floor of my house and can just go to sleep.
