Tesco - world beers - any 5 for €10

    Starting tomorrow (2nd May) Tesco have a range of 40 world beers at any 5 for €10

    Seen it in their price news leaflet - http://www.tesco.ie/pricenews/

    The Erdinger Dunkel is lovely.
    I was in Tescos last night and spotted the new range of beers so I picked up a good selection bottles :(
    I should have read the price news first.

    Krombacker is very good and usually about €3 a bottle.

    i'll be stocking up on the scneider weisse and O Haras Irish Pale ale. Might try some of those fruit beers too and the belfast lager.

    Franziskaner is €1.79 per bottle in Tesco and it's one of the best beers I have ever tried.

    it's a nice drop.

    i prefer to wait for lidl they often do a box for 20e

    A box of how many? Normally see it in Lidl @ €1.20/1.25 per 500ml bottle

    It's normally €1.79 per bottle, but is regularly on offer for €2.50 for 2 bottles.

    Wow. that's good. Got a few cases of Grolsch @ 50c a bottle from O'Briens a few years back. It was nearing expiry. Think it might have been my first bargain alert purchase

    I meant when it is on offer which it is regularly

    BTW Blue Moon is now included in the O'Briens 6 for €10. It is lovely. Small bottles though unlike the others in the offer

    I got it in O'Briens in blanch about 6 months back and it was in the 6 for €10 deal, and i will agree it is beautiful. Gonna try all of the erdinger and that no7, iv heard its lovely

    It's nothing like Corona. Corona is passable on a hot day. Sol tastes like it was strained through a tramps sock.

    Anyway, O'Hara's Irish Pale Ale and Young's Double Chocolate Stout are cracking beers.

    mmmm must see if they have an equivalent deal over here. the price news leaflet is not issued until tomorrow. wouldn't mind stocking up on some cheap bitburger.

    They sure are. I'd regularly drink O'Hara's. Easy to make it a preference once you've tried it. The Dice Bar serve the Chocolate Stout which is really nice too.

    The Courage brewery might have a certain acquired taste for some, but I've tried their range. The Courage Best bitter is pretty good - a highly rated UK bitter. Same would go for the Directors' strain of beer.

    A number of places are doing the 5 for 10euro these days. Places like Deveneys and Redmonds offer a little more choice. But still, this is a decent offer.

    Hey has anyone ever tried that Excelsior beer from Aldi. I heard it's just gorgeous. 8 cans for 1.49
