*Please note that mystery shopping is not a guaranteed regular form of work. You will be employed on a Self Employed basis. You are required to apply online, please do not send in a CV. We will contact you upon succesful application.

    How is that legal?

Would that be to apply in-store, or is it advertised online?

another success to come from this thread. Got a job out in Rigney Dolphin today:D Thanks for all the effort ppl put into this thread:)

Sorry if this was answered already as i didnt have time to read through the whole thread. I have an assessment on Tuesday morning for Rigney Dolphin in Dublin, with Metoer . I'm quite unsure of what to expect in this 'assessment'. Does it involve a group assessment and a one- one interview? Will it last a number of hours? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    What will happen will be.

You go into to a room overlooking the call centre floor. In the room will be everyone doing an interview(they usually have alot of people). You will have to do a written assessment which varies depending on if your sales or care or whatever. Then you will do a one on one interview where your say how you are a perfectionist and love helping people. You might have to do a pc exam where you play with Microsoft word, copy + paste, adjust text etc baby stuff really. I did all three for Vodafone. Have fun :D

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how come Rigney Dolphin always seem to be hiring?
Is it an easy enough place to get a part time start in considering the state of the jobs market?

Pretty high turnover id guess. Call-Centre work can really kill the brain O_0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,101 ✭✭✭MitchKoobski

Probably because everyone quits or is sacked. Call centres are touch and go, doesn't suit some people. On top of that, I've never met anyone who's worked there and had nice things to say about it.

I worked there. They say people stay on average 6 moths, the majority of the staff are under 30 and most are in college. I had enough of listening to shockingly stupid people on the phone giving out, thats why I left :D People and the management were great but was a sucky job for me(customer care and tech support). Inbound sales is the job you want if your going to be in a call centre.

Oh I see I thought they only really took on professionals! feel like a muppet now!

Do they take on a lot of college students during college term?

Ah dont feel like that :D They only take on reliable people ;) Yeah they do tbh, their very flexible for students. Like if I had to go off for a hour during my shift there wasn't an issue. With my training group we were all fell into 3 groups, current i.t. students, drop-out i.t. students and past i.t. students. One chap left sun micro systems to work there:confused: Heres a tip for when your in there, Microsoft excel can play certain games :D

Apologies if this has been covered but I've only just seen it myself, Audi Waterford are looking for; Sales Executive; Business Manager; Aftersales Manager and Junior Parts Person. Sure there'll be a bit of interest in those positions?
