None of the charges involved intent to kill. That seems to be a massive misconception that people have - possibly based on our own legal definitions.

The reason he can be guilt of multiple charges related to one crime is the legal concept of an "lesser included offense". Eg The larceny is less severe than robbery, but robbery by default includes lacerny.

Anyway, most of the dirty work, manufacturing powered by coal plants etc is done in China and other asian countries now, they are not going to strangle their economies to keep a few middle class looney lefties and grotty thunberg happy.
