You said Trump has done some stuff you consider 'real racism' yet you don't think he's a racist.

Do you think he was a racist, but isn't now?

Or do you think he has never been a racist?

    I said no such thing.

Why exactly do Trump supporters expect a much higher standard from everyone elses posts than they do themselves?

For instance I could easily parrot "well Al Sharpton may have dealt drugs and been racist in the past but I don't consider him a racist or drug dealer.

Multiple times on multiple threads dude.

The only thing that isn't true is your earlier post here:
    I stand by my posts.

Because you don't. You seem to have a belief system about race without the conviction to express it consistently.

Yeah, why not? He reported on the bad news…
Really bad news! The Baltimore house of Elijah Cummings was robbed. Too bad!

Is it your contention that alerting the public to the horrid conditions in parts of Baltimore, as a result of their failed leadership, is racist just because the people hardest hit are black and their representative is also black? I think the tweet involved two parts... more bad news of crime coming out of Baltimore, this time affecting their representative, and these things are to be expected until their leadership makes real change.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

Ask MM he's the one calling Trump a real racist.

To be fair I did a search for "real racist" in this thread, and only came up with 4 results, all of which are your 3 most recent posts and muffin quoting one of them just now. Do you have links for his posts to the effect?

I’m concerned with real racism. Get to the back of the bus. No blacks allowed (yes. Yes. Trump did it in the 70’s as per your posts) no blacks at school. And so on.

Not record jobs for blacks racism. Not calling out black politicians for abandoning their district to virtue signal about the border racism.

    Trump carried out real racism.

It was a break on alright.

    Cops- anything missing mr. Cummings?

Cummings- just some documents from my safe. They seem to have shredded them…

You said you're concerned with "real racism" like no blacks allowed. Then go on to say that Trump did that in the 70s.

Ilhan trolling Trump regarding the send her back chants.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar responded Thursday to “send her back” chants that erupted at one of President Donald Trump’s rallies by posting a photo of herself and Speaker Nancy Pelosi on a visit to Africa.

“They said ‘send her back’ but Speaker [Pelosi] didn’t just make arrangement to send me back, she went back with me,” Omar wrote in her Instagram and Twitter posts.

The pair are visiting Ghana as part of a Congressional trip to the African continent this week to commemorate the American slave trade’s 400th anniversary.

What black person in their right mind would run for national office as a republican in this age of hatred towards republican blacks… orchestrated by democrats, liberals and blacks. Who could blame them for not putting themselves through it.

Sadly, it's the truth. Black GOP members are called such things as Uncle Tom, brainwashed, sellouts, traitors. It's like saying they can't think for themselves. Who wants to go through that?

Here's an example from just the other day of Lemon of CNN attacking Rev. Owens...

You see I'm Irish, not American so I'm less polarised than American politics. The Democrats are actually far to the right of anything we have in Ireland right now. I think that the polarisation of politics here (USA) is what causes some of the extremes on both sides.

Nope. Maybe you've responded to wrong person?

Thread is going to quieten down anyway I suspect.

In a bizarre statement Ilhan Omar claims Americans should be more fearful of white men. These comment are totally incorrect seeming as the homicide rate committed by black men is soaring. Its frightening to see people gobble up her garbage.
I firmly believe she could play a major factor in getting Trump re-elected due to her radical views.

C'mon man, context ffs... How do you expect your outrage to be taken as anything other than faux outrage and partisan politics?
Ilhan Omar suggests people should be ‘more fearful of white men’ than jihadists in 2018 interview

So in regards to white terrorism and Islamic. I think whitey is ahead on death count.
I do enjoy the new angle from the Putin right suggesting following or supporting anyone against Trump is helping Trump :)

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You know we have crossed the Rubicon when far left posters are still harping on about Russian bots with little to no evidence of such

Years ago, and even still today, they'd be calling Alex Jones a tinfoil hat, crank for alluding to this type of stuff.

Far Left = Far Right when it comes to this conspiracy stuff.

You're all nuts to believe it.

Personally I'm referring to this. If it's not true I retract it, but I'm pretty confident it is.
'Mitch McConnell is a Russian' trends after GOP senator blocks election security bills
    https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/454999-mitch-mcconnell-is-a-russian-trends-after-gop-senator-blocks

Mitch is blocking the bill. No conspiracy there.
'Far left' is just an attempt at vilifying commentators you don't agree with. It's a tiresome tactic TBH.

Nicely skipped over the fact the 'fearful of white men' was taken completely out of context by the way. Let's always make right wing faux outrage about anyone who disagrees, when called out on it ;)

So in regards to white terrorism and Islamic. I think whitey is ahead on death count.

IMO likes of Ilhan Omar on the left in the US are correct re far right ideology/white "nationalism" being a driver for mass shootings in the US. Trump's election & his politics and statements since then have ginned up these people. Of course you can profile that by "race" or better by politics/ideology...

However they will not accept same re the Islamist terrorism in the US and Europe and its ideological underpinnings.
For this they prefer to have other factors (Western foreign policy, poverty, anger at discrimination, mental health issues) as complete explanations.

The left doesn't like such profiling being applied in that case, even though the connections are just as obvious (given by terrorists themsleves in their own manifestos and videos, just like with the right wing terrorism).

I know in that case its a minority grouping (muslims) that are often already disadvantaged in the West and there is a desire to protect them from a backlash but it seems hypocritical of them to me.

That's a fine set up you have there if built on faulty foundations.
If you compare white terrorism to Islamist, there's a hell of a lot more attention time and money given to one over the other, despite the homegrown white brand being the far greater threat, based on death toll. She's pointing out that people should maybe be more fearful of that.
Also if you can show anyone denying there's any problem with Muslim extremism, I'd be interested to read it.
On mental health, we never hear about an Islamist terrorist's mental health. When a white kid guns down innocents we see how they fell through the cracks, it was video games, porn, bad family life etc. We find excuses, anything other than ethnicity.
I agree though, not all whites are terrorists. See how frustrating it must be for a minority? As Ilhan Omar herself has stated almost every day she's asked to denounce Muslim or immigrant related crimes. Does the press walk up to white congress people to ask same based on their being white? We'd a whole thread on AOC not responding to such a question.
